The Heskey rumour is clearly rubbish and I wouldn't take him as I don't feel we need a striker, especially not his style, but if we did need a target man I would snap him up. Underrated by the public IMO and was one of the few England players to come out of the WC with any respect in my eyes. We've tried for Clingan before so it wouldn't surprise me and I can't decide about St Ledger. We need a CB but I feel we could do better and I'm not sure he'd be the guy to push Lees' game forward.
Actually simon, I disagree with you. I think we do need/want a striker of his playing style. No way would i want it to be him though. Just imagine simon, having a good striker like Rickie Lambert upfront, we would be wrecking this league at the moment with townsend and snoddy at wide. And then getting Howson back as well. We would probably have one of the best if not the best midfield and strikeforce in the league (assuming we sign a CM alongside Clayton because i dont think Brown can be classed in that bracket atm). A striker like that is what i think we are missing (obviously some will say becchio is good enough to fill that role but as you all probably already know i dont really rate becchio)
He's exactly the same player as Andy Keogh except black, stronger and more experienced. Of course both of them are useless goal-shy donkeys so I wouldn't want them anywhere near Leeds United. Be a midfielder if you want to create goals, not a pointless 'second striker'.
haha yeah i sleep but i live in australia at the moment so my times are ****ed compared to yours. However i do only sleep 4-5 hours a night anyway
