a few weeks ago I would have laughed if anyone had suggested we would take something from the game!!

I am quietly confident that we can now (not that we will but that we can).

I think the difference with us now is that ONeill has installed a "every game is like a cup game" approach with every point being important. He is known for his attention to detail, with this comes confidence and believe in your ability and that of your team mates something that can never be underestimated.

Thankfully we've managed to get ourselves in a position for the time being where we've took alot of pressure off and can enjoy playing/watching our games.

Chelsea on the other hand don't have that luxury. Only problem for us is that Torres always scores against us.

    I'll go for a 1-1 or 2-1 defeat.

Something has just occurred to me, last season Chelsea were held at home 1-1 by Fulham, then we went down & thrashed them. They went on a serious blip after that.

As the piece says, this season Fulham once again held them 1-1 only for Villa to go next & twat them 1-3, is another bad home run on the cards for Chelsea?

Still no official news on Cahill either, he has of now 18 minutes to sign in time for Saturday.

Do I expect us to win? No I do not but what I do know is that we will go & attempt to. That's the difference.

I'd take a point here, but we can hopefully threaten enough to have a shot at all 3. No disgrace in losing there, so I'm sure MO'N will be priming the lads to have a pop.

If we do lose, I sincerely hope it does not affect the team confidence too much.

Our 1st loss will be O'Neils first real test.

good article until he refers to David Vaughan as James Vaughan which leaves me wondering just how much he actually knows about Sunderland

    still, bring on Chelsea!!
