Our set pieces are really poor, and we have also been wasteful from the penalty spot as well.

I think we all had high hopes of Adam putting in great corners and free kicks but he has been extremely disappointing.

Maybe. But then we had 17 corners against Blackburn and did **** all with every single one! So you must be doing something right (well, something less wrong than us ;))

all i know is the taker of a corner needs to do a lot better. bellamy for example only takes a few but gets his head down and concentrates on technigue and whips it in... then downing strolls over and fluffs the next 3.

pens is the same, gerrard has taken 2 and scored two by just ignoring the keeper and putting it where it needs to go.

Adam is a disgrace how many he's missed not going and doing what he used to for blackpool

Well, at Liverpool there's pressure to perform, as there are others who can do the job as well as he can, at Blackpool, he was far and away the best at the job.

Same goes for Dowling, gone from being the specialist at a given job to being one of several...

Perhaps they're struggling with the pressure of knowing if they miss/hit the first man, Gerrard or whoever will just pull rank on them...

Ok, I'll give him a call. Sure he'll listen <ok>

I think the bigger problem with Evra playing is the risk of another racist abuse issue for Liverpool. If it happens in the 3rd and the 4th round the FA may start penalising Liverpool. It'd be a shame if an FA Cup match had to be played behind closed doors.

I think there should def be ( will be) more cameras then usual and more officers so that if something even seems remotely out of hand they can deal with it quick. One problem I have is this looks far too easy for say an evra to come out after the game and say I was abused racially, whether he was or not, and once again we would be in the thick of it. I really hope he wouldn't be that kind of person but he has the Chelsea incident and the Suarez one ( which Suarez naively used negro or negrito when he should not have had, punishment taken), whose to say he doesn't just throw a fit to get us in more trouble? I hope taht thinking doesn't cross any of the players minds and I hope our fans are smart enough to know how much in the **** we are in and to wrap it.

Def def def the Suarez song will be in full effect though, no stopping that.

Nah, doesn't matter about how many arrests, the FA have a hard-on for Racism this season. Next season it'll be something else that Blatter has cocked up...

If there is another Racist comment coming from one idiot 'fan' we'll cop for it. No question.

We need the fans to be switched on and right behind the team. Screw the opposition, they don't count, we shouldn't waste breath on any member of the visiting team and just concentrate on singing for the lads...<ok>

Whilst also having hundreds of thousands more supporters attending games than any other club per year. Can you see the obvious connection or are so much of a ****wit you missed it?

Old, as in labouring the point.

Rather than new, as in taking the country to the brink of bankruptcy.

    1. evra is going to get a good reception, its the whole of utd that will have to face the crowd... and rooney in particular as usual. I would find it very suprising if evra got anything like what suarez will get at old trafford.

    2. arrests = utd away crowd in the majority... you want the link? I hardly think its necessary to go down that route as i did the maths on it for a guy who made the same point andit didn't add up. i don't care about it but if you want to accuse us before anyhting happens you have to accept a bit back

Not wanting to drag up old laundry (or Old Labour for that matter), but it was Mike Phelan who accused the Chelsea groundsman of calling Evra a "****ing immigrant", something the FA in their infinite wisdom deemed not to be racist. Evra actually said he didn't hear any racist comments from Bethell. Besides which, any fan would be charged under criminal law and hence there would probably have to be more evidence than their was in the Suarez case to get a conviction.

My main concern is that if Liverpool have a fan who is willing to racially abuse a 20 year old who was nothing to do with the Suarez case, tensions must be very high amongst the fans. So if Evra, the man they all blame, makes an appearance there's a chance of a stronger reaction and it might be more than one person. It'd be particularly bad timing, given that the previous incident was also in the FA Cup - makes it even more likely the FA would overreact and punish Liverpool for the actions of the minority.

BOLLOX... you want the report swarbs? the one which shows last year you had 2 supporters arrested for racism while we had one idiot prompty arrested this year?

I think if evra reacts to the suarez song them more fool him.

If we sing it non stop i think we are foolish. we have 20 songs to sing to support the guys actually on the pitch and our own anthem... plus we can abuse rooney all game for the laugh plus your away fans too... why get involved in a pointless riling of evra.

I think there's maybe a higher probability of one of your away fans bringing and offensive banner or something.

there we can all accuse each other of stuff before the event. out of a 45k crowd two guys got in the front row and you know what? if the lad hadn't the balls to turn round and not accept it nobody wuold have known. I say fair play to the lad and thats one guy as an example to a crowd that had no examples last year....... I'm for one confident the day will do off just fine.

p.s. if evra comes out with something after the game on canal+ that'll say a lot.
