Despite reading a host of my outstanding e-mails I have not come across anything on two subjects. 1. How is the Red Lion going? It was supposed to be open in time for Christmas or the New Year. 2. How is the pitch standing up? I did see that Sarries played on it during a wet spell at the begining of the month.

OFH - The Yellow & Red Lion still has scaffolding around it, so not ready yet. Those pesky builders spent too much time in The Football Cafe. The pitch is looking in excellent condition - helped by the lack of rain and very mild weather we have been having. As I was looking at it on Saturday, one thing did come to mind - they put up this practice goal nets betwee the 18 yard line and corner flag, but they always put them on the same side i.e. by the SW corner and this is getting worn. So why not alternate them to the SE corner?

Just finished making a moussaka...enough for two days. If I don't have to fry another slice of aubergine for another month or two I shall be very happy. Still, Mrs H thought it smelled so good she has suggested opening a bottle of wine...so quite a result for a Thursday...

Thanks for the up-date w-y. I did read that the fabric of the building was worse than first thought. I think that they put the practice goals where they do so that Hornette can pop down for a chat to Loachy.;)

Why is it when I see a SMEG fridge I smile<laugh> There is one in the background of The Great Sport Relief Bake Off, And when they pan round the set the fridge comes into shot! My wife has actually said she will not allow me to buy one when our current one expires:( I know, I know totally childish but it makes me smile;)

Mick has said it is likely the lag from where he upgraded the server a few days ago. The site is probably now identifying the issues which were solved before but have not been transferred. He is looking into it and assures us there is nothing major wrong, just tweaking needed.

Ello H. Nice to see you. How are you?

Kiri got her tattoo today, and it looks great. Its not too big, and can be covered by a watch or bangle bracelet.

I am very happy tonight thank you. It will be a good nights sleep for once.

I do like it, it suits her. Just the wolf to go now if she can sort it, She will have it on her shoulder rather than her arm, so not as bad as i thought.

I was just worried as it was her first and i know her skin sometimes reacts strangely. The paw prints werent such a surprise as she mentioned them a while ago, its the wolf on the arm which caught me off guard, but the shoulder wont be too bad.

Im sure she will come to another game, just one thats a bit warmer lol. She said it felt a bit like having an injection for 30mins. But then her pain threshold is much higher than mine as a result of her wrist anyway.
