checked his wiki page ,its really impressive.i think 26 is a good age for a big lad to go pro ,i noticed david price went pro at roughly the same age.the smaller fighters seem to peak earlier then the big lads for some reason
some good competition out there for danny aswell hopefully he will do the country proud as a pro ,his attitude has got better recently he thought he was ali as a amatuer because he boxed dummies and only ever boxed for england as they was no compeition for club shows because of the experience he had ,bellew made him work and he pipped it by a point

I think David price should win this one against mcDermott, but its by no means a foregone conclusion. I remember watching price get slapped all around the ring as an amateur by robert Camarelle and he doesnt like getting hit. His standard of opposition has been so low so far that you cannot predict how he will fare as he moves up..... he harps on about how he beat Tyson Fury as an amateur, but always forgets to say that Fury was only 17 and price 23 when it happenned...lol i think mcDermott will be a good test for Pricey and possibly could undo him...... love these domestic match ups.
If Price can't beat butterball McDermott, he should give up now. Tyson Fury actually struggled against McDermott in what could only be described as the battle of the bulge but I think Price is way better than Fury and he should get rid of fat cack's McDermott within 6 round's.
No better gatekeeper fighter at British level than big John. If you have any ambition to go beyond that level, you have to go through him.
Very true that, im sure there's a big John in most countrys that boxing is popular in, a true test before you move up a level. But I doubt any of them are in as bad shape as him.
Very impressive, obviously Mcdermott isn't the best of fighters but he still gave Fury a tough fight and he couldn't even get near Price last night, not to mention Price beat fury in the amateurs or olympics can't remember what one it was, going to be one hell of a cracker that fight, most likely going to go to it if it's local aswell, My money would be on price though because Fury leaves himself wide open countless times and he got knocked down by some nobody in his last fight and i can see Price knocking him out/forcing a stoppage. Will be hard though because fury has got a good punch and is a good fighter and can take a punch and his knocked Price down before
both prices won last night , david price and mcdermott was a mis match mcdermott looked like a pissed up fatty , danny price made it 3 out of 3 now aswell so all in all a good night for some , frank maloney wrote in ( scarborough evening news ) saying that danny price will go to the top
