[Off-Topic] Bulgaria

    Hey all, my lass wants to go to Bulgaria this summer with me and few of her other friends. I think she wants to go more for partying etc, so I heard Lake Balaton can be good for this.

    So has anyone else been to Bulgaria or more specifically Lake Balaton, any advice on what to do/see and is it a nice country to visit?

    Probably oT would be more likely to know about Bulgaria than anyone else.

    I thought lake Balaton was in Hungary? Swear one of our old au pairs was from there...

    <doh> Yeah you are right OT :D. For some reason I thought it was Bulgarian. Anyway I know she definitely wants to go to Bulgaria.

    My mate went, he said it was a beautiful country, but the food was odd and they only drank piss weak beer.

    And yeah, Lake Balaton is in Hungary and it's mostly full of oil.

    Brother Been to Sunny Beach, if you like to party and like late nights, good place to go he said. Also full of young people so you can't expect a quiet holiday but he really enjoyed it, cheap food and drinks and plenty of stories. The only problem he said is to be careful with your money as few people looking to take advantage of drunk tourists. Hope this helps :)
