The downside of all there cross treads.

It's a shame we don't have a cross thread block option as with posters

Let's have a healthy debate about who is the biggest club.

You obviously didn’t read that the Doomsday clock was moved forward one minute on Tuesday to five minutes before midnight

I still think Hendo could prove to be a great player although I think it was probably right for us to take the money offered at the time.

Not so sure about Carroll... I think he could have been right player in the right place for Noocarsel and the £35 million for him was only exceeded in stupidity by the £50 million for Torres.

Think Carroll needs to move away from Liverpool. He won't be coming back to Newcastle so I'd say somewhere like Aston Villa would be a good move for him - swap for Bent maybe because apparently he wants away. Then he fits Aston Villa's boring team perfectly ;).

Tbh, he is a talented player and I think he could even do quite well at Spurs...

I'd say he was probably more effective as a right midfielder. Has a decent cross on him. Not worthy of getting in the Liverpool team though.

Henderson is a good player, he just goes missing in derbies. Carroll goes missing in every game for Liverpool.

Can't believe the amount of people slating Henderson worse than they are for Carroll. Could this be due to the clubs they started at, or am I being cynical? (Rhetorical btw).

While Henderson hasn't exactly set the world alight, neither has he done badly. Can the same be said of Carroll? I have no doubt both will improve as players and think its only a matter of time before Carroll starts playing like the player we thought he was. A big difference between the two is position, its a lot easier for strikers to grab the headlines just by doing their job, whereas midfielders often have to go the extra mile so to speak.

Henderson's a winger not a central midfielder, check out his stats for his first season in the team, 11 assists I believe say's it all.

So more of a Ray Parlour "wide midfielder" than a traditional pacey winger i take it?

Tiny bit of advice. Don't multi-board ans use daft phrases like "sad crew". Keep it for Newcastle crack.

Hard to say. Both are good prospects but neither worth the fees. I think they probably edge it though. At least Carroll was part of a unique situation involving Torres and Suarez where Chelsea were funding the Carroll and Suarez moves by paying way over the odds for Torres. A mackem friend told me recently he'd heard Sunderland had set his value at 8m and Liverpools first bid was 16M. You've got to love the americans at Liverpool, and their ability to know where to pitch in the english transfer market

To answer the dickhead OP wum. <ok>
The skunks clearly ripped off Liverpool more as Carole has been utter ****e for them.
Henderson has got on with his job and done OK as far as I have seen, Oh and gets picked more than Carole.
As for mentioning Hendo in the same sentence as that plank Carrick, Hendo is ten times better than him. <ok>

I think Henderson has done ok at Liverpool, Carroll has not, but there is no way Dalglish will let him leave, he'd have to admit his error in buying him if he did.

From someone who watches Liverpool every week, Henderson has been pretty decent for us actually. Shown more value for money over Phil Jones and de Gea. Carroll on the other hand...you would see Crawley Town players playing better than that vs City.
