so, so very hard. He might shock us all. Though the scenario boab describes, though cynical, does sound like exactly the sort of thing that will happen!
No i dont think he'll struggle at all to get a work permit. He is a USA international at the age of 24 so he has a lot of years left in him yet. And its not like he hasn't ever played before either, he'll get in no doubt
If this is a scheme by Mr Bates, I've got to admit it's sheer genius. One of the great villain's of our time!
There are requirements for a work permit of a USA citizen in the UK, I think in professional sports you must have played a certain amount of time in the last 12 months to be eligible, it appears Rogers is well short of the amount required. There would need to be a change in the rules to therefore allow him a work permit, not something even Uncle Ken can make happen.
He can still qualify for a permit, but we have to convince the panel that he has 'exceptional talents'. Nottm Forest managed to do it with Robbie Findley to be fair, though they didn't have Shaun Harvey stating their case.
oooh, i think he's got a long way to go if he is gonna compete with the mighty kenneth bates Huh, I dont know enough about it to argue with you so i will bow down. I'm not bothered though to be honest, didnt think it woulda been that hard to get him. Infact, I think southampton (I think its southampton, could be someone else) are signing someone who has a similar issue from an asian country but they seem pretty confident it'll happen.
Of course you also claimed we'd never see Snoddy in a Leeds shirt again and he's playing against Palace... Everyone's gone into this deal knowing he can't get in automatically, but he has a decent case for appeal as he's played in most of the games under Klinsmann.
i wasnt hopeful that he'd get a permit, but after being told findley got 1 on 'exceptional talent' ruling, im more confident as findley is gash
Surely to say he has exceptional talent he will have to play for the club then and not get loaned out? I can't see where he would fit in, I have to admit, the thought crossed my mind that this was a Bates "we are trying" story being lined up. To be honest it isn't an exciting signing so I don't give two monkeys if it happens or not.
he wouldnt be loaned out. grayson said if he gets a permit he'll be involved in the 1st team immediately

No I didn't, I suggested that Snoddy may have played his last game for Leeds due to his illness and then the very strong possibility that he will move on during this transfer window, there is a difference to what you have suggested I stated. I know for a fact he has a choice to make and they involve two EPL clubs, he will make the choice when he is ready and it is likely he will leave.
