Fans of Celtic normally hate the term old firm, as it is usually used by the media whenever they want to criticise Rangers and so they blame the old firm instead.
Celtic fans have very little in common with Rangers fans.
Rangers fans are known throughout the world as been obnoxious, bigoted and sectarian and any club who are unfortunate enough to be drawn against them
in Europe are frightened of the damage the Rangers fans will do to their city and stadium.
On the other hand Celtic fans are welcome everywhere and have European and World wide acclamation as best fans in the world.
However, Rangers fans according to the Strathclyde police force can do no wrong and funny enough according to the same police force Celtic fans do wrong all
the time. I wonder why any sensible Celtic fan would want anything officially to do with that lot. They may be o/k to laugh at but that is all.
