been a fan for years love her lyrics the sound always sounds raw and in your face the all round package i guess always sounds edgy imo,the one thing about her is every time she brings out an album i think is this the one that lets her standard slip and it's never happened yet after what 10 albums every album to me when released is like listening to her for the first time (bit soppy and all over the place of a description but it's the best way i can put it )

another album would be dig Lazarus dig by nick cave

 

the reason i love nick cave is he has this very vivid strange even morbid take on life a lot of his songs are about murder,death and tragedy but listening to some of them and you'd think you were listening to a beautiful love song

Quality song that, I've enjoyed a fair few Cave albums.

phew the pj album was 2000 and i was hoping you didn't notice

to be honest i don't buy many albums these days i normally download old stuff and obscure bands i've been hunting down for years the last album i bought was last year by the dancing did but it was a 80's album i was waiting for it to be reissued the album before that was the same sort of thing

 

My favourite PJ Harvey album. The only one that comes close to that is, Is This Desire?
