This guy's website is ridiculous. He's got some kind of fashion line where he fancies himself as some kind of model and has put up a review of some film... If he's going to be a success at Leeds, someone needs to tell him that this website is a joke.
Woah, woah woah. Have you not been listening to things around the club over the past season or two regarding transfers. Last january, grayson promised us a signing and he bought andy O'brien who was already playing for the club, hardly a new signing. He then said this year that he wanted 2 signings and then after barnsley he said maybe 1 or 2 more than he previously said (3 or 4). We have already signed Pugh and Townsend, which means Rogers makes it 3. That means Bates sees it as 3 signings as well. I wouldn't be surprised if that was our lot (But i truly wish it isn't, we NEED a defender)
That website is ****ing ridiculous, I was pissing myself laughing at it that a footballer has this as a website and then i realised he is now a leeds player.... But I'll stay open until he plays
If that is our lot Grayson wants shooting, surely he cannot leave us short on defenders once again...
Very strange signing, he'll be like a fish out of water. Can't see it working out at all. Waste of £4,500 per week wages. He'll probably be loaned out to someone like Rotherham to toughen him up. Be interesting to see how he fairs on a freezing cold, windy day on a muddy pitch. Culture shock beckons for the lad.
I dont think he'll struggle with the weather. But he'll struggle to adapt to the difference in playing style as all footballers do in fairness. Again though, like all new signings, im gonna stay open until i see him play
he's in for a culture shock in general coming to Leeds. He's religious and up himself, 2 things I would not only not associate with Leeds, I'd say they are completely incompatible.
He's Californian, you're practically a freak in that state if you don't think your the best thing since sliced bread.
I don't if you look in the right places. And to be fair we can be quite up ourselves when it comes to football, i.e "<insert non traditional small premier club> don't really deserve to be in the Premier League" ect.
I did a job at Ferrybridge Power Station some years ago, working for the US company that had bought it. One of the managers, freshly tanned from the California sunshine pointed at some meatballs in the canteen and asked, "What are they?". "***gots luv", came the reply. "Oh, you eat them here?", he said. And had the fish.
I'm gonna try and ignore the first impression Robert Hampton Rogers the III has made on me with that website, and try to remain neutral to see how he performs...
Bates has exceeded himself with this one. This nobody joins Leeds and will no doubt be our "big" signing this transfer window, yet both Bates and I suspect Grayson know he can't actually join, as he hasn't met the legal requirements for him to have a work permit in the UK. Bates will no doubt lambast the whole legal system in the UK and for as long as the transfer window remains open, and then he will keep going on about it. Once the window is shut, he will hope we forget all about things and continue to pay loads of dosh to watch the utter pish that this team produce under the clown Grayson.
