Guided Birmingham to another win tonight, they now sit 9th in the table. If they win the game in hand they have they will go 5th.
The fact that he's doing this well with the state that the club is in shows that he is a top manager and hopefully has a good managing career ahead of him.
This year Birmingham have been my second team and I am sure that I'm not the only one who's been looking out for their results.
Best of luck for the rest of the season Chris <ok>

I think we all knew that CH had it in him to be a great manager. I'd love to see him do really well.

Still don't understand why Fat Mike fired him. Good manager, and the players like and respond well to him.

I don't think he's a top manager but he seems a nice guy and a decent manager who seems to be unrivalled at ship steadying. He made some baffling decisions when at the Newcastle helm but we all forgave him because he kept everything and everyone calm and collected. Any manager who manages to keep the likes of Andy Carroll and Joey Barton calm and concentrating on football deserves a hell of an applause. He'll improve over time no doubt. Hopefully we'll see him back in the prem sooner rather than later.

Would love to see him get them promoted, would be one of the best receptions ever for the opposition manager at SJP.

Love the guy. Genuinely one of my favourite people in football...So unlucky not to go on to the next stage in Europe!

As for being a top manager - we were his first club and his man management was Sir Bobby-esque...He can learn from mistakes and can improve tactics, but being so good at handling big characters comes naturally. I think he'll be a Prem manager for years to come!

Love Chris, in a way I wish he was still our manager, not because I dislike Pardew, it's just because he is a great man and pleased he is doing well at Birmingham - even though I'm not keen on them

Would have liked to have played Birmingham in the FA Cup at home. Oh well, Im sure whenever Chris does come back to SJP he will get one hell of a reception. Similar to the reaction Kevin Keegan got when he came back with Man City

Even though Pardew has done ever so well. I still dont love him like I do Hughton. Hughton laid the foundations for Pardew, would be a different situation if Hughton got sacked in the summer of 2010.

I'm loving that Hughton has continued to prove himself to be a top manager. He was new to it all despite his time in the game whilst with us, but had just started to make significant progress with our style of play etc and developing his own ability. I used to hate his subs but he got bolder as time went on. Unfortunately Laurel and Hardy decided to make the more than a little ropey decision to get rid because it seems he failed to toe the line. Them two dafties will be sitting saying "well look whats happened we were right" of course but I just don't buy that crap.

Luckily we got Pardew who has done equally aswell and contiued his good work by continuing to develop our style of play. I have no doubt this would have happened under Hughton as we'd still had been scouting the same players like Cabaye etc. What's gone is gone but its nice that Hughton has been able to get past them royally ****ting on him to prove himself all over again. He takes on some really tough jobs, I wonder how he'd get on without the outside distractions he's had to deal with in his managerial career. I'm sure they shifted like 20 players in the summer and had a European adventure to contend with!

I'd love the chance for our fans to thank him for his work. Few would be more deserving.

Love Hughton, hopefully he gets Brom promoted so we can play them next season.

Such a shame that the chuckle brothers sacked him.

It's been said time and time again the amazing job he did for us. Nobody would have done better. If we had Guardiola in charge we wouldn't have accumulated more points in our Championship season than we did. His handling of big name players was fantastic, and the way he united a split and dejected squad to form a team was nothing short of brilliant. He got the players playing for the shirt and for the fans again, and as importantly, got them playing for themselves.

If you want a manager that could make you a good, mid-table PL side then he's your man. Whether he has what it takes to move a club onto the next level remains to be seen.
