Agree Norway. Certainly think we fit that description more than spuds. With us, he would lead an evolution. At spuds, he's just another player.
Utterly amazed is an understatement But it's still a positive even if he chooses Spurs... cos it weakens Blackburns defence which may help to keep them below us !!
Seems to me that his first choice would be PSG, who are certainly ambitious. If they have to lose him this may work out well for Blackburn - us and Spurs drive the price up, PSG end up paying silly money.
As I said on a previous thread ... even if Spurs bid more the player may still decide not to go there. Blackburn then have to decide whether they keep a disillusioned player who wants out and may become a liability, or do they take the much needed money from the next highest bidder. Hopefully the latter.
He says he wants to return home and PSG looks like likely destination, however Alex and Onuha arent bad backups to him and they can both be had for less than Samba. The important thing for us is that he leave, him going to PSG is still a win for us as it massively weakens blackburn.
What happened to the talk of going out and getting some players for us, then eh? What happened to the noise he was going to make. This Hughes bloke is a joke.
Steve Kean said on SSN they wont be selling Samba even though the player want to leave the club. I bet Samba wont get his move till the end of the season, I am hoping spurs don't start start sniffing around Alex if QPR don't hurry up
I can't see Samba going and Blackburn won't sell to a relegation rival IMO. If Blackburn sell Kean, they are basically sending out a message to the fans that they expect to be relegated. Take Samba, Hoilett, Yakubu and Robinson out that team and you are in trouble
Don't worry mate, Alex is W12 bound. Before Harry figures out he won't get Samba, Alex will already be wearing hoops
