Reports today linking us with bids for Man utds Ravel Morrison. supposedly they've lost patience with him as he appears to be their nile ranger. However unlike nile ranger he's said to be one of the best young prospects in England and is being tipped for a VERY bright future.

bit of a double edged sword as he's very highly thought of but would he be too much of a risk? maybe taking him out of the spotlight and bringing him into our level headed and stable side would see him calm himself down?

    what you reckon?

Is he really that good? If he's anything like Ranger then no, he's not worth the hassle.

I suppose its up to pardew to decide whether hes worth the risk. but even if we got him pretty cheap and gave him a crack at the 1st team then he might just catch the ey of a few other bigger clubs willing to pay us a decent amount for him if he does endup being a bit too hot to handle.

Morrison’s contract expires in the summer and, having lost patience with his repeated truancy from training, Manchester United are looking to secure a sale during this transfer window.

If he's going to be trouble at Man United why would he be any different here??

Some kids don't realise what's in front of them.

I heard he was a complete waste of talent, already thinks he's a Premier League star, always late for training and generally a bit of a tit. Him & Nile should get on.

Sturridge used to think he was a PL star way before his time too but as he's matured and got his head screwed on he's flourished. you wouldn't say no to him now would you. thats why city let him go supposedly.

Fergie has said many times in the past that this young lad has far more natural talent that Paul Scholes and that is saying something. I think he is defo worth the gamble. My best mate is a big Utd fan and rates Morrison far higher than Pogba!!

I'd take him. He's worth the risk.

if he's as good as they say he is then you could sell him for a profit if he acts himself.

speaking of Pogba, my mate is a man utd fanatic and we were watching a cup game when they brought him on and he was raving about how good he was. he looked total ****e in the time i watched him. he just gave the ball away constantly. supposedly it was just an off day but he's very highly rated.

I thought the same. Supposedly his head is elsewhere already though as he doesn't want to be at Utd anymore!!

seems fair enough to me. They could use a midfield defensive lynch pin and defensive general as well as a promising young striker, and we could do with a new child prodigy.

I went to a Mackem reserve game when they played Man Utd a few weeks back. Sunderland won 6-3 and Pogba was absolute ****e. Supposedly he turned down £15k a week at Man Utd because he wants 3 times that <yikes> what an arsehole.

thats the trouble with pumping up kids egos at a young age. they need to be kept permanently grounded to stop getting an over inflated view of themselves before they've actually acheived anything.

Compare that to a player like Demba Ba. Worked his ass off for years, got turned down and released from teams like Watford. Look where he is now...

Exactly. Not sure if this Morrison lad would be worth the risk, but if Fergie says he has more talent than Scholes then he probably is worth it for a small fee.

Apparently he got 2 girls pregnant aswell. Still I would take a risk on him, if he misbehaves send Tiote to teach him some manners. :D
