I also believe that it only applies to the job he comes for (Saints), because, if I remember rightly, the work permit issue came up for a player who'd already played in England for years. There was a problem because he no longer played for his national side during the period he played in England. Sorry I can't remember the details. I'm only saying this because some Cassandra types elsewhere are saying he may not sign for us once he's here. Rubbish.
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Teemto_Pagalies http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Moonus_Mandel I think we're 'Light years away from this happening'
The BPL transfer rumor page on twitter says hooper wants to come to saints and we'll make a new bid, although even they say they dont know if its true and I doubt its the most trustworthy page.
Teemtu Pagalies is hoping to make saturdays match. But only if the Millenium Falcon can make the jump to light speed.
Sky sports suggesting boro have agreed a deal for Jutkiewicz. So it looks we're not getting him or Sharp, options are starting to get limited.... Would love Cortese to sanction a serious bid for Hooper - I think Celtic would sell and surely there must still be Chamberlain money to spend?
You may all think this is all a big joke, but I can confirm that Pagalies' agent is also responsable for introducing Ody Mandrell and Pax Bonkik to the Championship. They are currenly on the youth books at Watford and Burnley respectfully. So make of that what you will, and don't shoot the messenger.
We've no proof we seriously went for either Sharp or Jutk. Lee came out of left field, so that may be true of another player.
That was Jaidi. We signed him very shortly before he became a British citizen, hence the hold-up in signing him. I doubt we would have got a permit in L1 iif he hadn't been playing in England for some time before.
I read on one of these threads this morning that Hooper was interested in a reunion with NA Hope so!!
Solent twitter - "#Saintsfc latest: NA very coy on injuries & signings understandably - Tadanari Lee has outside chance of being available for Leicester game" and "NA also said Jason Puncheon won't go out on loan again, but was for sale on a permanent deal #Saintsfc"
Celtic have said that Hooper is now for sale. Reported up north that they are interested in doing a deal with Connolly going north to play for his boyhood heroes.
Swapping a 34-year old injury prone striker for a 23-year old hot prospect wanted by a few Premier League clubs? I don't think so, even with cash thrown in.
