On the 11p Sportsvibe channel it reported that within the next 48 hrs Fulham will be signing on loan till the seasons end Maxi Lopez,with the view to a 7mil signing in the summer.Dont know much about this guy so i cannot comment. Jol was reported to say, we will be moving on several players in this transfer window.
Maxi Lopez: There was a report by a South American correspondent on Radio Who said he was not a prolific scorer, that he was a young footballer who had been sold by River Plate to Barcelona and it was expected that he would become a star, but the promise never materialised and he was sold To FC Moscow but moved onto Italy as he holds Italian passport (???) and played for Catania. He was a bit of a playboy, but has settled down with a wife and two kids, it was rumored that he had an affair with Frank Rijkards wife during his stay at Barcelona, but they were denied.
Barca signed him for €16.2million (approx. £13.5m) so they must have seen something in him but then again they sold him for about £1.65m so they must have soon realised that he's not up to it. Loan with option to buy is ideal but I don't see it working out. Hopefully i'm wrong though.

If we were going for an Argentinian and offering £7.5m, I'd go for Matias Suarez of Anderlecht, I've seen a lot of him in the Europa Cup and been impressed with him.
