    I stayed in Bristol for about 6 months in 1998. The join in the road of Cheltenham Road and Glouster(sp) Road.

    Well if we do want to keep this on topic... history like this is good at indeed teaching me a bit of history and history in itself is good at providing me with a decent bit of distilled knowledge which I may find practical in every day life - but I would try not to build my understanding of an existing situation over what was done to my now dead ancestor by the now dead ancestor of some person who is still alive.


    I'd always consider myself an Irish Republican but I really can't be having the rhetoric that's unfortunately all too often associated with it.
