I do have the full sky package and ESPN is an extra £10 per month.

Nobody apart from us and a few romantics would be too bothered about our match being on TV..

but Hull City vs Notts County at Wembley would be fantastic.. good call..

Don't have the movies, got all sports and everything else, only pay 20 quid a month, you are all been mugged off. Haggle with Sky, they will budge, if they don't cancel it have a bit of patience within two weeks they will be ringing you back and who's court will the ball be in then.

Edit for clarity: should have said not ESPN, point still been why is anyone paying £44 a month for sky is beyond me.

well ive had sky since 1996 and i pay nowt for ESPN. My full package for sky is £43.99 per month which give me access to everything Except Pay Per View and the Premier TV sports channel(which covers the BSQP) which i think is £5 extra.

Maybe its because ive had sky so long. But ive never had to pay for ESPN on its own.

I would contact sky and see what they can do for you ? Sky sometimes are guilty of looking after new customers better than long term customers. But i think £44 a month is good value overall.

Simple. Its peanuts and you get value for money from the LIVE football games alone. £44 does not even pay for a good night out, ffs.

I can imagine it being one of the main games on the highlights package on the Saturday maybe...a la Hull City vs Hednesford many years ago.

    Still in pain from that.

Still shout/swear at a TV whenever Lawrenson is on after his agreeing with Hednesford's penalty and our lack of one.

Today Crawley Towns website says that they have already SOLD more than 1100 tickets for the game so they look to have a good following. Gate could well get to around 15,000 then especially as there is No tv coverage of the game. (highlights show apart)

It's not peanuts or value for money if the same product is available much more cheaply just by negotiating with them.

Thats what i did. I have multi-room so £44 quid is very cheap. As you say you have to negotiate and sometimes you have to threaten to leave or actually leave. They soon get back to you begging for you to return.

By the way, £44 is not even a good night out anymore.

We play ****e on telly anyway and it'll mean more people may actually turn up.

It would be embarrassing to see the KC so empty.

Indeed. But the 4 teams who were on TV last night all get £82,500 so its not to be sniffed at.

Same, and I've had the full package since we moved into our current house eleven years ago!

Is there a link anywhere to say that it should be free if you have the full Sky package?

And I'm sure from seeing the list before that the fee is half the normal amount for replays.

£44 a month is not cheap for what you get, for example I pay £85 a year (one payment) to watch Al Jazeera Sports who show miles more football then Sky do, the only rights they don't have is Premier League rights, City v Leicester 3pm was live on Al Jazeera the other week.

I can't be bothered to list what Al jazeera show but it's loads.
