Just seen on my stats alongside posts that I'm Level 42. They were a great band - I may have to go look for some of their stuff now to reminisce......

Great band, listen to them quite often as i'm still stuck in my 80's buble. Mark King is one great bass player.
    Good post :)

Unbelievable Willy. At QPR we have a history of musical credibility including good links with the Notting Hill based indie labels and the ultra high brow composer Phillip Glass. And then you go and bring up Level 42! There's a place reserved for you in the very MOR crowd over at Craven Cottage mate! :)

    Cock music taste
Level 42 were possibly the worse music band in the UK ... The bass player was awful and the songs sickly and stopped the UK from thinking straight ... Impossible to dance to and I shudder to picture when the one that fell off the ugly tree would break into a bass solo .. The other lad the one you had his nuts in a vice would then cut in with a load of high pitched bollocks

Really bad time to read this as its made me feel sick on the beach at tulum ... Full of Eco princesses doing yoga ... Tomorrow's class I am going to take it and make the silly cows do robotics ... I am preparing now by embroidering the Bros brothers on my speedos My playlist for the session starts with Chas and Dave's rabbit and concludes with Paper laces " Billy don't be a hero "

    Now that's what I call music 67

UK tour beginning 7th and ending 28th October so check dates if you're anxious to avoid them.
Apparently they reformed in 2001 but despite this still continued to play the same toons.

I did like them at the time (Living it up-The sun goes down)

You know, I'd call you a complete knobhead, if a) I understood what you were typing, and b) I thought the mods would allow me to get away with it.

As it is, I'll just THINK that you're a knobhead....

K'mn! Level 42 = beige sox. Always did always will! And every time anyone mentions Level 42 they say "great basist". If he was he was lost there!

We could start a raffle to get WLW some education on music
Start with Bowie and work up to nick cave and radiohead before getting him onto Jeff Buckley ... Level 42 my arse!
