I'm going for a 1-2 win for Liverpool. I got the 5-1 Oldham result right mother ****ers so you best get down the bookies sharpish.
hammerhead™ requires a small h (importnat) then alt 0153 i personally got for mito's favorite... RHC has a µhamerhead...
Why's that - is every point made in the comment not true???? 20 years ago Liverpool had the fear factor, that's all gone now - just like the rags fear factor is dwindling, teams now know they can win at Old Trafford and Anfield and have a go rather than see it as a lost game before it starts. As for money - at least its spent on the training facilities and local community (don't beleive all which is in the papers!), who would you rather have Carrol or Aguero for the same price???? Problem is Liverpool haven't moved on when the likes of Spurs and City have - you will get left behind and end up fighting for Europa League places come 2013, rather than top 4!
I have just returned from the future. Liverpool win 1-0 tonight (Carroll 54min, stock header) In other news from the future, Jedwood are still ****s
who worte spurs have "moved on" thats a giggle.... last time i checked spurs top earners were on a lot less than even our top earners. the real truth here is the sides who pay the most in wages... well long term end up higher up the table. arsenal - glass ceiling, huge talent leaving all the time due to wages. Spurs - can retain players up to a point when the big boys come calling. they can extract top fees as they keep puting players modric on long deals but i nthe end wages talk cheslea = paid terry and lampard 150k per eek long before 100k per week was a top wage city. broke the 200 and 250k per week mark to attract players. (jumping queue even of cl footy to attract) utd now have to pay 250k per week to rooney... nobody else near it. liveprool 125k per week torres and gerrard, couldn't afford it. not when the likes of aquilani was on 70-80k and lads like keane given 90k.... moving on seems to really mean spend money you don't really earn (in city's case) on wages you can't afford (according to uefa fair play rule) to get the bes tplayers. I think the only thing spurs have done is bought well cheaply (modric, bale, lennon, parker) got them on long deals and sold big when the time came (berbatov, keane) at least they can say that, lfc can only say they splashed it round on anyhting they could get.... hopefully some of comolli's work this year that the wums don't get to wum about like ibe will pay off. lets see though..... spurs moved on me thinks its a slippery slope if they don't secure CL and start paying the big bucks.
here this will help http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-13679632 june 2011 Chelsea - £174m (£167m) Man City - £133m (£83m) Man Utd - £132m (£123m) Liverpool - £121m (£107m) Arsenal - £111m (£104m) salaries per team 08/09 in breackets shows lfc underperform which is not unexpected of course but the millstones borught in were culled by now... we've now new ones the wums will say. tottenham according to some were at 91mil... and this is climbing up from 61mil... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...5/Leos-London-Spurs-aiming-kings-capital.html that last link is a bit negative on tottenham and smacks of a journo who's a fan of some rival club but the facts are there.
oh and denny... that was quoted to me yesterday as a 50/1 bet... so what you are saying is put your life's savings on carrol to score LFC to win 1-0
Well it's 1-0 but it was Gerrard. Carroll has been crap again, he just falls over his own feet and stumbles around. When the ball is played to him it just bounces off him. Adam has also been poor since he came on. Everyone else has been pretty good. Even Downing, though i'd still like to see him go down the line more, he is on the left so why not try?
