Hi all - I'm attending a "Coach the Coaches" course on Monday night in Farringdon which is being run by SAFCFoundation. I am assistant coach for Lumley FC under 7's (My boy plays for them) and it has been suggested to me by the manager. One thing I didn't know before booking is that, although the course only costs a tenner - it also comes with a free ticket to the Swansea game next Saturday. - Good on the club for doing this -= I have a season ticket but family member will take the ticket - just thought I'd share as I think it's an excellent idea.
Very good move by SAFC. Swansea wont be a sellout unfortunately, but the club knows the importance of the 12th man at games. Just getting a crowd there to support the lads, even if it means taking a loss on a ticket - is a very good move. In the last few matches where our attendance has been 40,000+ (or very close to 40k) you can see how the crowd lifts the players. Willing Seb on for that goal against Man Citeh to release Ji on the wing, was what he needed. Crowds and atmosphere will lift the lads up the table, turning into profit. Well, imo anyways
Marcus is this next Monday the 16th ?, my son has been invited to attend as part of the under 11s Elite Squad training session.
