I've heard great things about Iago and was very impressed in a U19 game I watched. Would be a good signing but I highly doubt it seeing as he's already on loan.

The Daily Mail article does make it clear that he is on loan to Spurs and also states they would need Juventus' permission to do this. A similar thing happened with Dani Pacheco. Athletico Madrid agreed to sign him on loan from Liverpool with a view to buy him at the end of the season and then Madrid loaned him out to Rayo. Seems very strange, but there are precedents for this in European football!

What does that bit mean about Redknapp wanting him to get more experience before the last few months of the season? Sounds very temporary to me, as if he can recall him at anytime. Surely we would only want him if he stayed with us till end of season?

Tomorrow's daily mail states that " Arsene Wenger is interested in signing the young "Fant Gheiugh" from Saints Academy for £4 million. he will sign for the Gunners either this january or at the end of the season."
