As if Man U are actually after him <doh>

It's silly season, if you believe everything you read it's going to be a long month.

Sacre Bleu, is nothing sacred anymore? If it's not the 'dippers it's Fergie now?

got a sauce for this?

(p.s. yeah, because if anything, Man U's squad is lacking in the striker department...)

Check the gossip column on BBC Sport.

Though the BBC Sport gossip column has an infamous reputation as being a compilation of the worst jokes from worthless hacks, I genuinely believe Man Utd might ask the question. Sir Alex may want to ship Berbaflop, Hernandez isn't having a good season, and Rooney has been terrible.

Haha Hernandez has been injured, Rooney has 17 goals this season and Berba has 6 in 4 games lol. BBC knows what they talking about don't they :p

Well I'd say Berbatov was still a flop, based on the fact Man Utd have dished out all that money for him, and he's played FOUR games this season. Regardless of how many tap ins against poor defences he's had, that's a shcoking indictment of what a bad purchase he was for that club, and he's barely been injured during his spell.

Hernandez has been hampered by injury, so that to me implies he can't have had a good season.

And while Rooney has scored more than he did last season by this point, he's still not regarded by most media pundits or fans as playing anything particularly near his special best (yet wierdly everyone says, yeah, shove him in the England team anyway).

Overall, I'd say if they could ship out Berbatov for around 10 million, and get Ba for around the same, Sir Alex wouldn't complain.

I agree that Berba will more than likely leave Man Utd, Fergie doesn't like him it seems, but he has a great record for Man Utd - was top Premier League scorer last season and Man Utd wouldn't have won the title without him and on Rooney - he was named in the World 11 - I don't agree with it and I know he has had some ****e games (especially against us) but, he is world class.

Wouldn't be surprised if they did go for Ba though.

Looks real, it's linked to from his website and follows his brother who has pictures of them both. Looks like previously it just posted auto updates from the website but now he's using it normally.

Worrying about every pathetic link that gets spewed up by these Cockney, Spurs-sympathising hacks is utterly pointless and won't get us anywhere.

The media is loving an opportunity to try and derail our excellent season having counted the days until the January window opened, and are currently besides themselves asking "How dare Newcastle United get such great results with such a great bunch of players??!!"
Ol' melted face Redknapp is as straight as a dog's back leg and dishes it out but can't take it. Put an official bid in 'Arry or shut the hell up and concentrate on trying to keep hold of Bale, Modric, VDV and Adebayor in the summer.
The FA should be the ones stepping in to clamp down on these kind of unabashed public tactics designed to unsettle other teams players and I'd include all instances from ALL clubs in that. But no...

To Spurs, Man United, Chelsea, Man City, PSG and whoever the hell else they come up with – flash the cash or forget it. We all know by now that in football (and Ashley) money talks and you never know what's around the corner.
At the moment Demba Ba is OUR player and lets just enjoy having in the team for as long as he stays. At which point, we'll get a heavily inflated price (whatever the buyout amount) and an even better replacement.

Let all the haters have their little fun and ignore it!

His agent is his brother apparently, I think this is just another greedy agent trying to get an improved contract from us.
