We should probably wait and see, I've remembered a few of our players who were "pointless signings" and turned out to be not half bad, Snodgrass and Becchio for example.
I Really Have Had a Belly Full of Bates. He is holding this great Club back & we will never get anywhere with him at the helm. Forget about posting about super signings, he will scupper everything. To put this into context, I posted recently that we were on the verge of signing Robbie Rodgers (USA international) on a free. He wanted £8k a week, Bates blocked the deal until our form went tits up. He was at the Burnley game & was due to sign his deal last Wednesday. He gets in the room & Bates offers him 2.5 yr deal on £4k a week & no signing on fee, take it or leave it. Rodgers was advised to compromise at £5.5K pw until end of season. Bates says **** off, so he did. The bloke advising Rodgers (not his agent) is Leeds thru & thru, but reckons Bates was piss taking. The lad is now in talks with Leicester! You know whats gonna happen lads. He'll sign for them, play a blinder on last day of season against us (prob get a hat trick to boot!!) and pip us to the play offs. Thanks once again Bates you piss stinking old crook.

Maybe Leicester didnt go for him, that bit was more rumour than truth, the rest of my previous post was factual. Hopefully there has been some dialogue & a deal is still on the cards.
Some Yanks on another forum were quite concerned about whether he'd even qualify for a work permit. I suppose it's a worthwhile signing, we need another winger with Snoddy out so it makes sense.
Sounds like Gradel before we sorted him out, bags of pace and trickery but doesn't know how to use it. Hopefully he'll progress like Gradel too.
Supposedly he's not played enough internationals for USA so they're trying to get him on 'exceptional talent' clause but from what I read online earlier Columbus fans think it will all be tied up by tomorrow

haha, I'd consider playing Pugh at LB with rodgers at LW. Although im the only one that considers white not good enough as a LB But that team looks very good to me, although maybe a little attacking

How the **** can they allow a team to play on an American Football pitch, all those lines were so confusing trying to watch that but agree some good touches. Just been reading some USA reports seems like a work permit is impossible unless Klinsmann assists in an appeal.
I still think Aidy White is deffo gonna leave, that can be the only reason we have signed Pugh if Rogers was already lined up
