Don't know if it's been mentioned - but does the interest in Loric Remy spell a resignation by Spurs that Adebayor isn't going to stay ?
No. It says that Pavlyuchenko's going to leave and we don't fancy dragging any has beens out of retirement to replace him.
So there's a wage agreement in place for a permanent transfer to Spurs for Adebayor? And yes, that was a poor move by SAF to drag Scholes out of retirement. Henry last night for us however, was a great example of Wenger's and Henry's passion and skill coming together in an rapturous win for Arsenal
Against a depleted Championship side. At home. And it was 1-0. Is there an agreement on Adebayor's permanent transfer? Not as far as I know. I'm sure that you'll agree that it's far more likely that a striker is going to be brought in to replace someone leaving now, than someone that can't actually leave til the summer.
You may not have noticed, but it's almost literally the same level as Man Utd. I'd rather have Rodallega than Owen though, to be fair.
I'm not knocking Rodallega, as I've mentioned him on here before, but his form is woeful. Not sure how he'd work out playing alongside Defoe either, thinking about it. Out of contract at the end of the season though, so he'd probably be pretty cheap.
What has Rodallega done to merit being linked to a club of our stature? That his name is even being mentioned on here is ridiculous.
Apparently Harry is a Selhurst Park supposedly looking as Zaha of Palace , one for the future or another Bostock?
Ditto. In my opinion, Adebayor is a mercenary, he's said a few times that after the Togo incident all he wants to do is just play football, but personally, I think he'd rather sit on City's bench than take a wage cut to join another team and play regularly. I'd like to sign him, he's been good for us so far, frustrating at times with his constant ability to find himself offside but his general play has been positive and his goals have helped out big time, a far superior upgrade on Crouch for the tall man role but I just can't see him joining us unless City offer a severance package to get him off the books.
Don't know why we are discussing Rodellaga but personally ( and I know I've said it before ) I prefer Odemwingie. Oh and as for the Promised Land , just look at those initials- maybe there is a message in there??
