Not worried about offending anyone but I wouldn't classify a trip over to Scotland as a foreign holiday. I didn't buy a tartan hat, I couldn't even find a fridge magnet for the clan 'Pendes' WTF!?!
They wouldn't have a clan MedDog fridge magnet because they are for the Scotch and you are not Scotch You could have brought a wee tartan bunnet though. They wouldn't have stopped you at customs for having it
Might be a better idea to scrap the Charity/Community Shield and play a charity game between the winner of the SPL and the Premier League, instead. That'd make something that nobody currently gives a **** about a bit interesting for a while, at least.
In my opinion, the problem is more that - for Premier League and Championship clubs, who rarely play non-league sides in the FA Cup - it's too similar to that, and much less historically valuable. I'm thrilled to see us playing Crawley in the 4th round of the FA Cup
viking erik is it right your the dummy (erik the viking) on youtube ???? i need to no before i give you grief
This was tried in the past and failed. England offer a European spot for the winners, Scotland does not. Some clubs would not be eligble if we had same very basic eligibilty rules such as: do you pay players on time, and every time - that rules Hearts out do you pay taxes to Her Majesty's Government - that rules Rangers out do you provide audited accounts every year - that rules Rangers out again
70's we had the texaco cup , 80 's Anglo Scottish cup, think it was teams that just missed out in Europe that played ,remember st mirren winning the Anglo Scottish cup beating Bristol city , also remember Burnley v Celtic , we had a wee bit of bother with the locals and the police , then there was Chesterfield 3 Rangers 0
You forgot...do a significant minority of your fans support Irish terrorist organisations. Wonder who that rules out
I have read about that before BlueGas, and if it is true then everyone of them should be banned from Celtic Park.
