Its Official Euelly has moved to the Dons onloan until 14th Feb! Hopefully he'll get some game time and come back fit and ready for the remainder of our promotion push! Good Luck to him! Quite pleased with the move Clarke can come off the bench and change games, i didnt feel Euell could do that! Bwp/Kermo/Clarke/Hayes... Wouldnt suprise me if we get another Striker in on loan, shame about Schlupp getting injured would of been a quality signing http://www.cafc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10267~2572647,00.html
Former Charlton Defender Miguel Llera has joined Sheffield Wednesday after being released by Championship side Blackpool, Blackpool also had a bid turned down for Jamie Vardy for 750k which included loaning him back to fleetwood for the remainder of the season... Having been linked with him aswell, surely his price tag is to expensive for us?? http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12691/7422134/Seasiders-snubbed-in-Vardy-bid
Oh hell - just in time for Saturday. Mike T, you booked your ticket yet? Blackpool sent a bid in by text for Vardy? Ye gods, how offhand is that? If the Fleetwood chairman hasn't been misquoted, IMO that is unbelievably rude.
Rob jones and llera? Jesus, if we keep it on the deck we will walk away with 3 points. Slowest pairing ever?
Update on Haynes from former SLP journo: #Millwall made approach for Danny Haynes on Sunday evening. Discussing loan with a view to permanent. Not a done deal yet. #CAFC very keen.
Why did Blackpool bother signing Llera? They sent him on loan and then released him a few months later. Strange
Might we speculate that their anticipation of a certain standard of performance failed to live up to their expectations? Sorry, it's my marketing background...
Which brings me back to the summer, and wondering why a relegated Premier League side with loads of money would bother to sign him. Performing well at two promotion chasing L1 sides is more than I expected from him, so I wonder what Holloway saw in him
Casts a spur an many scouting aspects, we always assume selections are well thought out and precise. Some may be rushed and panic riddled.
It was odd, Llera did ok for us but was hardly a shining star, bearing in mind how mediocre we were last season. Nicky Weaver, Llera AND Semedo against us on Saturday? Morrison against his old club Wednesday...
Ephraim move has taken a boost as QPR ''very keen'' to get rid of players surplus to requirements and he has told them CAFC his preferred choice.
Ephraim had clear crossing ability, if not a little predictable in cutting inside. The thing I liked about him however was his willingness to work for chris Powell, which I felt came across during his time. I don't think he's a nailed on starter though.
