    A new name linked with us...

    Various reports in the press are linking the Black Cats with 6ft 2in front man Ederzito.

    Martin O'Neill is said to be monitoring the hitman 23, alongside top flight counterparts Newcastle United, West Brom and QPR, according to the Daily Mirror.

    The forward is currently playing in Portugal for Académica de Coimbra. He has scored 12 goals in 80 appearances since he moved there in 2008.

    12 in 80 aint exactly prolific poolie, what we should be looking at is 12 to 15 a season. Would give him a miss if I'm honest the list of teams linked with him isn't exactly awe inspiring either apart from QPR who are linked with every man and his dog, keep listening for that phone call syd.
