    Arsenal v Sunderland
    Barclays Premier League, Emirates Stadium
    Saturday March 5th 2011. 15.00

    Referee Anthony Taylor

    -----------------------------------------------------------------

The gooners start the game in second spot and will end in second whatever the result; a win could take them within a point of Man U. They will also have one eye on a very big game against Barcelona on Tuesday.

For Sunderland it could be an important day, a win and we could go back up to 6th but defeat could see us drop to 10th.

Whatever happens we know that our players need to turn up, lets hope we will all feel that big grin on our face has the day unfolds.

last 5 games between the two are a win each and three draws, safc have not lost in london this season, and with a trip to barcelona midweek, this could be the time for the lads to grab some points in the capital, as long as we are not to defensive i can see an upset on the cards, think arsenal are more worried about this game than us

If we play to our strengths then a draw at least is achievable, but if we go there and line up not to get beat then I think Arsenal have what it takes to unlock any defence and we'll come unstuck. We need to show up with a positive attitude, we're not expected to get anything from this game so let go for it.

    Come on the lads.

I'm hoping that Arsenal will be destracted by the Barcelona game that is coming up... If we can get a draw, or dare I say it 'victory', down there it would be fantastic.

I think we will see 5 across the middle today, SB has been quoted as saying young Noble will figure in his plans as well.

I wouldn't mind seeing Mensah play the holding role just in front of the back 4 which would allow Muntari to adopt a more attacking role.

i agree 5 in the middle could do us well id go Mig, bardo, ricco, mensah, bramble, steeed, muntari, hendo, colback, sess, king asamoah

ive moved bardo to right back and ricco to left to give us a more balanced defence and i dont rate elmo at right back. colback in the holding role is a controversial one but its a case of slim pickins and why not throw him in? the midfield cant be any worse than at everton can it?. i like 5 in midfield because we can be dangerous on the break especially if we can get steed sess and gyan linking with either hendo or muntari trying to get beyond the front men

I'm happy with that starting line up, I like Steed in and great to see Welbeck back on the bench.

Arsenal: Szczesny, Sagna, Clichy, Koscielny, Djourou, Denilson, Diaby, Nasri (C), Wilshere, Arshavin, Bendtner.

Subs: Almunia, Rosicky, Ramsey, Squillaci, Eboue, Gibbs, Chamakh.

That's a strong lineup! Thought Arsen may have rested some with the Barca game coming up :(

10 Minutes gone and so far the lads are playing too deep. Only Gyan in their half of the pitch!
