    I understand the resentment but I admire the persistance of Ashley and co. To be told no so many times but eventually they wear them down.

    Changed his mind based on the fact PSG dont want him in the team, not his attitude towards us.

    Was he ever really going to get into that team regularly? I dont think his reasons for not joining us were 'to fight for his place' TBH.

    He's a footballer, he's essentially apathetic towards us either way. He stayed at PSG because they are a club on the up and he thought himself better than he is. Now perhaps he wants to correct that mistake.
    Fact is, he's got a good goal-scoring record plus he's good at setting up the other striker. Therefore I would take him.

    Incidentally does anyone have proof he rejected us? I don't remember us ever having a bid accepted.

    I remember us having a bid accepted, he turned us down. We went in again weeks later, got accepted, turns us down again.

    Maybe the fact PSG were more than willing to let him go could have been a clue to him.

    ..............however at the end of the day, if he does end up coming, i'll support. Like I do with all new signings.
