Goes to show you that the Board has no idea about what happened in the very recent past with Joorabchian and some players. Hughes has that guy as his advisor, and the Board let that agent's psycho-babble walk in straight through the door. We're in trouble. I can guarantee it. Sure, if we fight hard, we'll survive. Just barely, probably. We need to forget about the FA and League Cup and get ourselves knocked out by using a complete 2nd-string team to test some youngsters in those Cups and focus our energy on the League, to keep our 1st-stringers fresh so we don't lose them like we lost Faurlin. It worked for us last season when we got promoted, we had been knocked out of both Cups and it was a blessing. We really need to do the same here just to survive. That's my advice for the Board, and the other would have been to keep NW in doing so, but obviously it's too late for that now.

You never hear anyone say that before a cup game, do you? 38 games a season with a 25 man squad more than accommodates cup runs.
