was seen coming out of the newsagents on the corner of Loftus Road with a pack of 20 Marlborough lights and a lucozade sport! The aforementioned was spotted earlier today looking very pleased with himself after reportedly signing for QPR ( his boyhood favourite team, he's said to have modelled his style on Stan Bowles) on a 20 year contract worth an astounding £3 billion plus 4 return tickets to Kuala Lumpur whenever he wants to travel, with exceptions during school holidays as these are peak times, a year. The landlord of the pub that served him a celebratory pint of Fullers London Pride later in afternoon said 'he was a really nice bloke. He'll be great for QPR, just the sort of player we need to play alongside DJ Campbell. I'm sure that he, DJ, can offer him advice on how to play in the premier league so that he settles in nice and quick. I did give him the look when he asked for lemonade top on the Fullers, he won't ask for that again!' COYW
I heard Tevez only signed because Mark Hughes told Carlos he'd help the lad find the man who'd killed his father. "Hello, my name is Carlos Tevez. You killed my father. Prepare to die."
Funnily enough, whenever I've seen the Princess Bride, I always think of Robbie Herrera (one for the pre-Al Fayed crowd there!)
Whose motorcycle is that? It's a chopper, baby. Whose chopper is that? It's Zed's. Who's Zed? Zed's dead, baby. My favorite movie ... Princes Bride is up there.
Terminator 2 may well be the best sequel of all time, with probably only Godfather Part II as its competition.
I love Pulp Fiction and Shawshank Redemption, but The Sting still nicks it for my favourite. As for sequels, to completely change genre, Toy Story 2 is as good a sequel as Godfather part II within it's category. Just saying.
I was going to mention Toy Story 2 but I like to class animated films in a category of their own. I have a certain bias against The Sting, I own it and love it but it took a few more Oscar's home with it that year than it deserved to, leaving one of my all time favorite's The Exorcist almost empty handed.
I believe you have forgotten to mention The Lord of the Rings trilogy. I hate when people criticise Return of the Jedi, hugely underrated in my opinion. Masterpiece compared to the more recent Star Wars films.
I have failed myself - LOTR are right up there in my favourites. I say Star Wars doesn't count because they're six films
Can't we just forget about the last three and pretend they don't exist? Revenge of the Sith was OKAY until Lucas decided to add in some awful dialogue for his recent Blu ray releases. NOOOOOOOO
Are we are all so disappointed with the performance today, that we can have such debates? I'm in agreement with Bandit (yet again), let's all forget the last 3 Star Wars and keep to the original 4-5-6, which are still watchable back-to-back. LOTR was superb, but you need a rest in between! Kia Joorabchian, son of an Iranian used car salesman, and wonderful advisor to both Sparky and Tevez, is probably behind the deal that DR is reporting here - So if it comes off, who plays Sparky in the film?
I don't know about who plays Sparky, but if they ever make Premier League: The Movie, Owen Coyle will be played by Rhona Cameron!
I actually laughed out loud! It's uncanny! I'd post two pictures side-by-side here but the new image attachment thingy here doesn't work.
