They've got a new manager. Mark Hughes there on a 2 n a half year deal.

Will this give them the boost they needed or will it take him a while to bed in...Looking forward to finding out!

I don't think we'll see a Sunderland repeat. O'Neill is a very well renowned man manager. Hughes, well, isn't.

Their team are missing a few key players and don't think he'll have time to really get to know the team before the match.

Saying that you have to wonder how long he's been lined up for the job and been running the eye over the players.

Once again we play QPR at the worst time...last time they had new owners and all the new players, now a new manager! still should be rolling over them if we want to be the best of the rest!

dont see how a new manager will counteract them missing Barton and Faurlin in the center.

    this.

they're really going to miss those two. plus we're at home so they can't make a fervant home crowd count against us like it did down there. they'll come out flying for the first 15 and as long as we contain them we'll be fine. we showed that we can shut far superior teams than them out this week. they have anton ferdinand in defence which should be reason enough to think we'll be ok. ben arfa will rip that defence to shreds on current form.

    <laugh>

but the Q is, where to play HBA? against the powerhouse that is Traore and their 2nd choice LW, or against the 4th and 5th choice CMs?

edit: traore is off to the ACON too i think <laugh>

I haven't seen alot of them but I remember when we played them Faurlin was very good.

No disrespect to QPR t all but at home, this really is a game we should win if we want to remain competing top 8.

that'll make up for when they were all over us and it finished 0-0 at their place (courtesy of some classic Bothroyd finishing)

i asked over on the Rs board, they reckon this unless they sing new players (they blatantly will knowing our luck):

    Kenny
    Young, Gabbidon, Ferdinand, Hill,
    Macheda, Derry, Buzsaky ,SWP
    Mackie
    Helguson
