He should have wiped his arse on it.

In public, in the directors box. That would have been worth watching.

it would be funny to see englands "elder statesman" do something like a league of their own jape and do that then get fired out fo the ground...

that would be a legendary moment of the decade wouldn't it?

Apparently Ballotelli gave Beckham a City shirt and he was seen to wipe his nose on it.

    Apparently.

There's a link to it back a page, it appears that he's wiping his nose but he might not be really if you look closely.

But Ballotelli did give him a shirt. Nice of him.

There was an article on BBC breakfast news this morning stating that Eric Cantona wants to be the next President of France. Can I have your viws on this before I air mine? Perhaps this should be a thread in its own right, but I know this one is on both boards.

Eric was always a clever one. If you look at the story in more detail he has no intention to be President, he is just using the publicity to pressure French mayors into action to end homelessness. I'm surprised the Beeb didn't check the story in more detail.

He's basically put the issue of homelessness at the forefront of the French presidential election, whereas before it was being all but forgotten. Apparently another 100,000 people are now supporting the French homeless charity as a result.

    Legend <ok>

Anyway, Robbie Fowler for Prime Minister <ok>

I did, yes. Bridge Bar for the fourth round sounds good - hopefully it'll be on a Sat so the buses will be more frequent <ok>

P.S. Giggs for Minister for Families? And Gerrard for Minister for Road Safety <ok>

He looks a bit like this. If you change "Ono" for Rooney / Nani / Evra and "No" for "YOU ****!" <ok>

Harry F..king Enfield. Thanks a bunch.

I think it probably will be a Saturday due to drinking and associated trouble implications. The Bridge Bar will be very, very different to The Cheese. There is a far higher probability of trouble in there, although I'm well enough known for it probably not to be an issue. I also know who to avoid <ok>

As far as buses are concerned, the ones on a Sunday are Warrington Borough Transport and are very reliable. On a Saturday, they're Warrington Coachways, which is a private firm and less reliable, but more frequent. Any idea when we find out when it will be?
