I heard it was African_Ger, angry at Lennon's racist rant to the popular Senegalese frontman.

It's no real surprise is it? The Ragers are even more raging than usual because Lenny has cuffed their hero 4-1 in games played and he dared shout at the Senegal snide and Ally, Sir Dignity's sock puppet. How dare this filthy Taig raise his voice to a Gers man, he must die for his affrontery and gall.

Only the other week he raised his voice to a couple of teenage bigots whose uncle was a UDA man, beyond tolerating. he must die.

True, but sending him a bomb threat is a step too far.

You know what, Dev, I wasn't even that fussed about the result the other night, not at all. The big prize is the league, that's where the bucks are. Whoever comes second this season have no C.L footy at all. It's not as though you beating us even won you the cup, far from it. We're 2nd in the league with the potential to go a point clear with an O.F at Ibrox to come so it's not all that bad at all for us.

I just can't abide that fecking, wreck of a man. Previous Celtic managers have behaved with dignity (yep, that word again) but not this growling, snarling, neddish, ****. He is behaving like a fan, not a manager of a club like Celtic.

Seriously, if I saw that walking down the street, I'd just think "What a schemie tramp". But, as I alluded to on another thread, the vast majority of your support will lap up his behaviour because he "peyoor hates 'ra Huns" etc.

I've never heard him say he hates anyone BH, least of all a faceless crowd of people, but obviously if that is the case then surely by the same logic he is receiving death threats now on a regular basis because it is thought he "peyoor hates 'ra Huns"? Either that or because he is having success over Rangers on the park. He has won nothing yet but it seems the fear or thought of him winning trophies off the back of Rangers is too much for some people to bear.

No proof that it was Rangers fans I may add.

No, Dev, we always knew that he hated anything to do with Rangers / Protestantism. The difference is, that he now actually holds a position of some power over the easily influenced of your support being the manager of Celtic. You know, the majority who have this romantic notion about the struggle against the Protestant bad guys?

Personally? I don't like him because he's a ****. He belongs on the schemes. Infact, cancel that, he belongs back with the animals in the Kilwilkie Estate in Lurgan. With his fellow bottom feeders like Colin Duffy <ok>

No, but those who can't live without being oppressed by the Rangers-led, British Government, will say it was <ok>

They can't handle the fact that a Northern Irish, Celtic supporting Catholic is handing them their dinner. More power to him.

I say this as a proud Scotsman who isn't Catholic.

In fairness, there is no proof it was a rangers supporter.

But I am sure you would concede that the police will probably be less interested in speaking to the guys with the great big rosary beads sticking out unnecessarily over their hooped jerseys than they will be in speaking with the guys with the mad staring eyes, grazed knuckles and poor diction.

It was a Chelsea supporter <whistle>

The only club in the world who's supporters use the excuse 'it was someone pretending to support us' every single ****ing week <doh>

It will doubtless be Chelsea supporters who threw a homeless man into a fountain in Lisbon too.

This place is going to the dogs <606>

Fake offence and mock indignation is why most of us wanted a break from by signing up for here.

Now we've got Dev acting like a 12 year old school girl squealing and whining about a whole load of ****e that is associated with the OF tag.

"Diddums, some wide-o threw a homelss guy in a fountain - call the Portuguese consulate"

You don't know **** all about the circumstances that may or may not have happened in the lead up to that event.

Now what really pisses me off is this notion that the "Celtic minded" have that they are of a different calibre of man from the rest of Scottish football and Rangers support in particular.

Nothing is further from the truth, all big clubs have an element of arseholes within their supports, Celtic fans have, in my opinion, created some of the worst scenes ever witnessed in Scottish football. The Rapid Vienna fiasco, the '81 cup final (started by Celtic fans), the Mark Walters incident and finally, the '98 "OF day of shame" where CELTIC fans shamed the nation and as a result, Strathclydes finest will not allow that situation of a league decider, to ever happen again.

Countless refs and Rangers players have had their houses or cars attacked, even just last season, Spew Keevins was on Radio Snide saying that he was verbally abused in a Supermarket by a Celtic fan for having the audacity to say that Tony Mowbrays Celtic would not win the league.

No one, will condone what has allegedly happened to Lennon, but their is no proof that it was Rangers fans.

I'll say that it was probably some idiot from the anus of the UK (NI) making a cowardly statement.

I have absolutely no problem with Neil Lennon outside of football, I saw him once in Buchanan Street talking to Alex Rae of Rangers at the time.

What I do have a problem with, and for some reason Celtic fans can't see it, is that Lennon is flaming the fans of hate with his neddish behaviour on the touchline. No one can argue that Lennons record as Celtic coach is top-notch and his future as manager here and afar looks promising, but he can not behave like this if he wants to be a top coach.

You don't see SAF or Wegner or Mourinho fighting with opposition players and coaches and refs on a near weekly basis. I honestly think that he is on the verge of a mental breakdown, to be sooo het up constantly is not good for anyone, let alone a depressive.

    Rant over (for now)
