    Will Wickham start?

Will it be Vaughan, Gardner or both?

    Will Brown be back?

    Mig or Westy?

    4-4-2/4-5-1/4-4-1-1/4-3-3..what will it be?

So many questions, so much choice and still no new players.

It's funny what 4 wins and a cup victory, in 7 games, does to fans thinking.

Suddenly the desperate need for new players isn't as desperate as it was 6 weeks ago and any additions will be ones we want, not ones we are forced into.

Mon may have the luxury now of waiting until August to make the changes he wants and not have to panic buy as Hughes will at QPR.

If Short had waited another 5 or 6 weeks, Mon might have had to do the same.

Well I am afraid I still think we need an experienced striker and have done since last Jan. As many including myself have said, this time last year we had Bent, Gyan and Welbeck.

We did not have a midfield scoring, so I suppose that has eased the pressure somewhat but not enough.

    IMHO

Bendtner is not good enough, he is one footed, does not have 'quick' feet and prefers to drifit out from the striker position. He is not likely to score too many goals but may pop up with assists.

Wickham, is a big lad and does have the potential in a year or so to be a new Drogba or (Zamora), but that is some time off and goals are not likely from him in any profusion soon.

Ji, may next season when he has got use to the EPL and his english is better may be OK but as with Conor it is some way off.

Campbell, may well at last be on the comeback, but will he be as quick as before? He never tbh scored lots of goals and again you suspect his 'time' if it is to happen will be next season.

Noble, scores in the reserves but both SB and MoN seem to deem him not really for the 1st team yet, may need to go on loan for a while and strengthen his back and himself, he is a 6 footer but looks smaller.

So from my review of strikers, if we got a proven/experienced gaol getter in now, we could hang onto Bendtner for the rest of the season (then let him go). Next season start off with 4 good strikers, New man, Wickham, Campbell and Ji, Noble out on loan and if any good then brought back into the first team if any injuries. IMHO we need 4 strikers on the books cos' of injuries suspensions etc.

Sorry about getting back onto the thread here Syd

I think it will be the same as Peterboro, Sess upfront on his own. I think Frazier will make the bench for the home games following this weekend.
