Now into the 46th year of following the R's, now that is scarry. Ist game in spring of 66 against Brentford, my father sat me on a crash barrior on the old SAR terrace way before the current stand was built. How much torment can a person put up with in one lifetime?
I've not got the best of memories for things like this, but I think that the first game I went to at Loftus Road was in the 81/82 season. Judging from the results of the poll I've gotta say that I'm pretty worried about the future, we need to start getting some younger blood into the fanbase fast!
Well, chaps I have been with the club since 1947/8 season. Have seen the best and the worst over the years, been happy and sorry, proud and shamed. We are just like the seasons of the year! I also agree that we should have stuck by NW till the end as we started with him so lets finish with him where ever we are at the end of the day! Also I do not fell old just older!!!! Nice to See you are still with us, Sooperhoops!! Are you still on the gas bottle by the way?!! he,he! good luck mate and to all the oldies for remember the young one`s will soon be us!!!!!!!!!!!!
Didnt realise there were so many old git on here. I wonder what the answer would be at Fantasy Island, a lot, lot lower I expect.
My first game versus Brentford in the 3rd Division South in 1958. I have seen them play at White City, but have seriously been a supporter since 1966 when I started work and could afford to pay to them myself. Have had a season ticket in the South Africa Road from the day it was built. Rangers til I die.
Now 18 and been a supporter since I was 8. Seen some pretty shocking games but loved last season and loving the premier league!
Hi rangercol, I must do my bit to make you feel a little younger, as I have been under the BLUE & WHITE spell since 1947/8 Now that is old! Feel better now young man!!
You're the Daddy James! Our most senior citizen deserves a gong for putting up with the slings and arrows they've put you through over the decades...
First game in we beat west ham 2-1 in the 1994/95 season which is no where near as impressive as others on here, but was 9 at the time. Seen some right dross in that time including Vauxhall motors away at Chester and watching Bret Angell down the loft to name but a few disaters. Would make up for it if we stayed up this season!
My 1st game was Qpr against Aston Villa. Gary Penrice and Danny Dichio both scored, was gutted Les Ferdinand didn't play, He was injured but we won 2-0
