Good Morning, Proud of the lads last night, we held the Gunners on there own ground until the last ten minutes, and although we were defending more times than not, Lonners didn't have a real save to make until the hour mark. Its good to see Parker on the bench, surely this must be his last chance. Townsend looks a real handful, if we can capture another three players of his quality, you just never know..... Boggers, how was the trip down to London, did anything eventful happen??? Snodds could be back on Saturday v Palace. Felt sorry for townsend because he had to run 30 yard to get near becchio so must have bin a frustrating night! Poor dive aswell
Morning Elland, morning YWBK. Good performance last night. The crowd were in good form & we had a bit of banter with the Arsenal. "you're just a village near Tottenham", & you're only here to see the Leeds" etc. Just shows what happens when we pass the ball around & come up against a side that won't park a bus. It also shows the potential of what might happen when Howson & Snoddy return, & we find ourselves a genuine playmaker. All bodes well for the more important game on Saturday, which reminds me, who's coming down & where's the meet up?
I'm gonna be seriously pissed off if ive to make an effort to get to crystal palace on Saturday and Becchio is in the starting lineup! His effort these days couldn't get him out a bed. Rosco has to start! he came on mad kos get out of 1st gear. Becchio had there back in neutral!
Elland, in answer to your question, nothing really eventful, although a Blunts mate of mine who happens als to be a steward at Arsenal & who I bumped into at the game tells me there may have been a bit of argy bargy after the game trying to get through Arsenal station. All good banter at the game. So not sure if there really was any trouble. Only one guy in the away supports end seemed to exercise the little grey cells of the security people briefly. He was told to shut up & behave himself, & that was about it.

It was a good atmosphere, especially half time on the concourse. Only trouble was some coins etc. being thrown into the executive middle tier above us. Some nob in a suit started gesticulating like a mad baby and trying to get stewards to kick out about 10 Leeds fans. The Arsenal support was about as good as ours for a home game against Reading or Barnsley, and that was meant to have been one of their better atmospheres. Oh dear. Managed to wangle my way onto the early train home without necessarily having tickets for it, which saved me an hour odd. Happy days.

Boggers didnt go to game...stayed up to watch ,,But was up at 12-30am to go to work... And works stopping me going saturday as well grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..well just ave to save me pennys for me 2 trips to ER in march and april...Ole Badger gonna get messy whoop,whoop..<wink>
Oh well, the nearest I got to a badger last night was sitting near the ground with a bottle of badger ale bought from a local corner shop given that the Draton Arms was apparently about 10 deep with people ust trying to get in.
