<laugh> To all that nominated me a big thank you........I really don't care whether it is plus or minus..... Just to put the record straight I still do have my two ta.......<laugh>
On a more serious note....I apologize to you guys for the behaviour of one particular person who says he is a Saints fan and then does his best to drag the name of Saints into the mud by his disgusting and aggressive posting. It is hard to put him on the ignore list as he has to change his name so regular. May I suggest as soon as you lot recognise him report him to your mods or us or even let admin know. He will be banned every time we trace him. Not much else we can do we have tried every which way.......Happy new year guys and gals or what ever......(just trying to be politically correct.....<laugh>)

Just noticed this thread and wanted to respond with a big "thank you" for the very generous comments made. I enjoy the Saints v Pompey banter on the boards and love the sense of humour on both sides which has kept me amused for a number of months. Although a Saints fan, the Pompey board does make compelling and fascinating reading and not only from the rivalry perspective. There are a lot of people on both boards who post some really thought provoking comments and I have loads of respect for all the posters and moderators who contribute to making this a far more intelligent and enjoyable environment than the old 606-board which sometimes got out of hand. Although initially I wanted to read the Portsmouth board out of curiousity , during the recent problems with ownership over the last few seasons, I became hooked by the knowledge and insight shown into these matters which I feel is of interest to all genuine football fans as the observations apply to all football clubs at one time or other. All in all, there are some top blokes on both boards who I would be pleased to enjoy a crack with over a pint of beer. Thanks again.

    Cooking sherry! <laugh>

Actually, I went the match last night and the stewards looking in my bag, seeing only the left over mince pies and thermos flask.
When I handed my mate a steaming cup at half time, he was pleasantly surprised to discover that it wasn't tea, but a festive brew of mulled wine!
Shame about the result, but that gave me a nice glow!;)

I absolutely love P G Wodehouse and, although the last season was a bit of a mish mash, the Fry and Laurie combination was just superb. I have the box set (and some of the books too), and watch it again and again.

  10. Morning chaps.

Not necessarily fishing for plaudits but was this awards ceremony ever brought to a proper and fit conclusion? Will I be required to dust off my black tie suit for the occasion?

Rich, I can just see Sweep in his dinner suit walking around Fratton Park, like he owns the place <laugh> Perhaps while he is there he could undergo the F&PPT(Fit & Proper Puppets Test).

If he could only keep his sticky paws off of Su for five minutes, he could well be the person we are looking for to run the club <ok>
