Wenger is the sort of manager who develops great relationships with his players and because of this he has been able to make signings some would consider risky over the last few seasons that have all worked out well. Sol Campbell - Came in for half a season and really helped plug a gap in our defence. He was mentioned as a possible World Cup call up and clearly had something to offer. Jens Lehmann - Was a good influence on the other keepers and we won the game he played. Did what he had to and was a good option considering the GK crisis and injury list is why he was brought in. Thierry Henry - Brought back as cover and to help out the younger players he has already done more than i hoped by scoring the winner after 10 minutes on the pitch and his 5th touch of the ball. What a legend. All these players clearly still had/have something to offer and AW is the man who can see it and get the best out of them. It is fantastic that he is regarded so highly within the profession in particular by players. I have no doubt that having Wenger at the club gives us a greater chance of attracting top players young and old to the club.
