If Barton paid as much attention to his football than he does to his tweeting - he'd be better than Messi! What on earth he's playing at tonight - only he knows! He's one of these people that could start a fight in an empty room! I hope the new manager bans him from using all social media websites!!!
tony fernandes follow Joey on the twitter, it seem very strange, you would have thought maybe someone at the club would tell joey to tone it down a bit...
i hope the new manager bans the players from it, its embarrassing for him and the club. He acts like such a child on it. Hes apparently just said hes leaving it for a week, lets see how long he lasts.
How can a football club stop a player from using Twitter, for crying out loud? It can no more than your employer can stop you using it. Only if you say something that brings your employment into disrepute can they take action... and this is the case with Barton. I say let him spout out his regular tripe . If he says stuff that's detrimental to his employment as a member of the Queens Park Rangers playing staff then fine him, suspend him, fire him. But you can no more stop him Twatting as you can stop Susan Boyle shattering mirrors.
This will make our Irish contingent really take to Joey... @Joey7Barton Joseph Barton "If ur English, u play for England. If ur English and sh*t, u pretend ur Irish grand parentage matters to u and play for Ireland!"
Are we that desperate to find things to moan about? surely there are more important issues in hand at the moment rather than JB's inconsequential tweeting. If you dont like his tweets dont read them.
He can tell anyone to delete their account or they will be sold. Plenty of employers ban their employees from it. Its the same with having a curfew on players the night before the game. A normal job cant do that but it happens in sports.
yeah he was but did say it was not aimed at just the Irish but would be the same for any home country. I can sort of see where he was coming from but unfortunately he doesn't have the vocabulary to express himself in an eloquent manner but then again he is captain of our club and should not be drawn into bitchy arguments.
I don't think Hughes will take any sh*t from Barton, if he's not 100% heart & soul for us he'll be out the door come the summer...
