With the Boro game less than 3 weeks away, does anyone know when ITV/Setanta decide which games that they will choose to televise? Can assume that Liverpool v Man Utd will be one of them but at what time and what day? Will our game being a Derby affect this? Will the police intervene and call it as an early KO, cant see so with it being a cup match and attendance wont be as high as a league game, but you never know.
I'm definitely going to the game so won't matter about TV to me... We've played 2 under O'Neill on TV and won them both - is that an opposite trend to other regimes!!!
I will be going to the game, but depending if its a Sat or a Sun and the time, may affect my plans, ha ha
Northumbria's finest may well push for an early kick off time on this one...(no pun intended) Boro will bring a large number up for this one, and all are not intent on just the game...
Nah, we've filled our quota for the century as far as ITV will be concerned. But after the L'pool v Man U ours is the stand out game. So they will show QPR v Chelsea instead.
Agreed - Norwich game is on sky so won't be moved (This is the lifeblood of football at the moment isn't it!!) IF it's on TV I would say Early Saturday or Friday Night (hopefully early Saturday as I may be working on the Friday night)!!!
It'll almost certainly be an early kick off. It always seems to kick off against Boro. It must be all the oxygen going to their heads.
Especially this time, there will be thousands of them there.... If they get 15% and sell them all, that's over 7000 ........(insert own words) there.
ITV gets first pick of the FA cup games, so will be liverpool utd. then espn get the next 2, probably safc boro. expect newcastle brighton to be on as well, as it is a potential cupset. however, i have on good authority that we may be looking at another sunday itv double-header (liverpool utd, followed by sunderland boro).
the games when drawn choses the game day (can change but not normaly) Sunderland were drawn 2nd so will play on the saterday Liverpool were drawn 11th/16 so will play on the sunday so there cant be back to back games
Anyone know if the Black cats bar offer will be on like in previous years? Cheap ish ticket, canny seat & most importantly easy to get a pint before, during and after the game.
