Walker for Richards personally. Walker is immense and just a better footballer than Micah and been slightly better this season although Richards is also having a great season. The only other change for me would be Dempsey dropping to the bench to make way for Parker. That midfield would get raped, too attacking. And Mr Parker has been the best signing of the season for me and transformed Spurs from also rans into CL contenders and maybe more.

 

This isn't supposed to be "which team would you put out to win a game", it's just the best players so far in certain positions.

And btw the only aspect of Walker that is superior to Richards is pace, Richards is better defensively and is far more of a handful for fullbacks. Richards every day for me. Walker's pace is what puts him above a lot of other right backs. His defensive qualities are good, but not great.

 

I cannot take this article seriously due to the absence of Gerrard in the line up.

He’s the best player since sliced bread though I feel that inventive honour is no longer applicable as I’ve never heard of a sliced loaf smashing a DJ’s face in due to a difference in musical taste.

 

In your opinion. I disagree which funnily enough I'm allowed to do you sanctimonious huffball. Walker is much better with the ball, his control and passing is better than Richards and his positional snse also (although judging by yesterdays game Mancini is finally getting through to Richards on that front)

As for putting teams out to win games, nothing to do with that. If its about their position then you couldn't consider Dempsey anyway as he plays as a second striker or wide. Parker has been the best central midfielder in the league by a stretch for me and therefore I'll happily stick with my selection.

 

Personally think Richards is streets ahead of Walker who is a bit of a liability defensively. Gets caught out far too much for a side that dominates possession and considering his supposed strength is going forward he doesn't offer anywhere near enough tangible returns - how many assists does he have?

 

So basically... agree with Tashs team or else!

Walker > Richards. I'd say the only real advantage Richards has over Walker is strength.

All I did was disagree.

You basically had to pick your team of the year. I chose my selection of players. Dempsey can play CM, CAM or CF really. I just chose to make my team of the year a 4-4-2.

It doesn't mean I'd pick that team to start a game, they are just my selection of best players.

 

No. He said that my team was too attacking, I'm not trying to say that I'd put that team out to try and win a game, it obviously lacks strength in the center and would get rammed.

I just picked the selection of players I think have been the best and put them out in a team.

The starting 11 are the players I think were the best, the ones on the sub bench are just behind the,.

Adebayor's been absolutely outstanding for us.
Even if you ignore his 9 goals and 7 assists, the way that he leads the line, works his arse off and bring the midfield into play has been immense.
He's been a massive part in our success so far this season.

I'd say that the same probably applies to the other two that you've highlighted.

 

Adebayor because he's been a great signing for spurs, Rooney because he has to do everything at united. Score goals, track back and he's their main creative spark as well.

Feel dirty not picking Krul, but fewer clean sheets and poor kicking knocks him out of the team (just) although I genuinely wouldn't swap Krul for any other keeper in the league!
