Your opinion. I didn't like him before he came to Spurs but any ill feeling I had for him has been washed away with how excellent he's been for us. Most Spurs fans don't like how much he talks to the media, though.
The Kaboul saga when he was at Pompey was the classic.... The story went something like this.... Reporter to Saggy Chops: "Whats the latest with the Signing of Younus Kaboul from Spurs?" Saggy Chops: "Well we (pompey), Sunderland and Villa are in for him. I've spoken to the lad though and I think he wants to come here (Pompey)" A while later..... Reporter to Roy Keane: "So then Roy, whats the latest with Kaboul? We understand from Harry Redknapp that he's spoke to the player and he wants to go to Pompey." Roy Keane: "I don't know how.... only Sunderland have had a bid accepted off Spurs. No-one else should be talking to him" Later again..... Reporter to Saggy Chops: "So Sunderland have had a bid accepted. Pompey haven't ?" Saggy Chops (realising his illegal approach had been uncovered): "Well I've spoken to the lad's Mam and Dad and they've he wants to come here (Pompey)!!" The man is an absolute bell-end who get's total favouritism from the FA and the London based media.
He was complaining on SSN during the last transfer window about Chelsea's interest unsettling Modric. He does it all the time, but doesnt like it when the shoe is on the other foot.
3rd in the premiership so we dont give a fcuk , Champions League here we come... Super Super 'Arry Redknapp
You would if someone at the FA grew some balls and had him properly done for this - you would all come out in support of him and say how he never taps anyone up - even though the comments above show that he does!! Fantastic football manager - bit of a tit otherwise
Personally, I don't really care as long as it's not one of our lads he's tapping up. He is a knob though. Does anyone outside of Spurs acttually like him? I reckon he could go down as one of the most unpopular managers of all time. I'd have him for England like a shot though. Can't fault his ability as a manager
Get him as England manager, to put an end to his none-sense... Maybe he'll try and tap up Messi and co, with a dodgy birth certificate and passport, that'll be ok though....won't it?
Or maybe he will do a Pompy on you and you will go into administration and get relegated. He did it to Southampton, Portsmouth and almost West Ham. He leaves and the club goes into melt down. As soon as he gets the England job you could be in trouble.
What annoys me even more is how the f**k does Redknapp know what is in another players contract when the player in question plays for an opposing club. Has Ba's agent been speaking out of turn in the hope that he can engineer a big bucks pay days for the player and himself. This smells like a barrel of rotten fish. Keep your unwanted nose out of other clubs business you cockney excrement.
Is this the same Redknapp that starts all conversations on players with the caveat "Well you know me Bill, I don't like talking about other teams players....." or "Well you know me Mike, I never complain about referees but......" Bellend!
Actually he didn't. He sympathised with Modric for wanting to leave and rubbished Chelsea's first few bids saying he's worth a lot more but never complained. Our fans and Levy certainly did complain though.
Hudson is correct in this argument. Typical cockney sticking up for old Saggy Chops, a man hated by every other football fan apart from the Spuds
He's yet to provide a link to any interview where he's quoted as saying anything negative about Chelsea's approach. Also I'm not from East London so not a Cockney FYI 'Arry has just been on SSN and was asked what he knew about Ba's £7mill release clause his response was that the papers seem to all have contradicting figures on his clause and that Ba and Newcastle are probably the only parties that know what it actually is. Looks like the Sun/Mirror/whoever were talking bollocks
