I won £5,000 without even playing (I've always taken the view that the lottery's a tax on people who don't understand statistics). My aunt's sister won silly money on Euromillions; she gave my aunt a million; my aunt gave me £5,000
65 quid with 4 numbers, which is a several thousand to one shot to get up. I stopped playing the lottery after that realisation.
True story...My then girlfriend now wife called across to me in Tesco shall I call my mum because I haven got my lottery numbers on me. (both used the same numbers every week, birthdays, anniversaries etc). I replied just put any numbers on. We were driving somewhere the next day when her mum called asking if we had put the numbers on? (her mum hadn't) They had all come in about 7M jackpot if I remember correctly and it rolled over.
We just put on any numbers as my girlfriend didn't have the usual numbers on her, we would have been the only winners.
I'm not a gambler but about 18 months ago I registered on the lottery to enter the saturday draw every week. The first draw I won £10. Not had a thing since and am wondering do they really enter me in the draw or just take the money. Was the initial success designed to hook me. Hmmmm.
PS. When you ****s are queing up to put on yer lottery tickets bear in mind that there's somebody like me in the queue wanting to buy their smokes and itching to stab you all to death. Soon.
I must be really lucky - every week I get letters ( usually from abroad ) telling me I've won the jackpot on another lottery.
I tend to get lots of Nigerian and Ivorian people all descended form royalty offering me millions of puounds to be their friends. i must take the plunge one day
