West Ham, the gift that keeps on giving.

This season's embarrassments have included early baths to a fourth and third division team in the domestic cups, and zilch in Europe as usual.

We're already almost certain to see a twelfth successive decade of domination over them now. So far are we in front of them in terms of lge, cup and europe, and the decade's only in its third year <laugh>

Truly they are the top comedy club in town <ok>

What's everybody's favourite day of the week?
    I'm quite partial to Wednesday.

Like it PNP, I can't wait to meet the next deluded Hammer who tells me what a big club West Ham are. Knocked out this season by a weekday and a club that's about 84th in the league pyramid, luv it <ok>

Wet Spam - always good for a laugh.

Shame though I would like to have played them at the Lane in the 4th round and stuffed them.

This explains why the Chelsea fans got so annoyed when I suggested that for the first 90 years of their history they were 'vying with West Ham' for the third best side in London.

    It is true though.....

    :) PS

West Ham are in danger of no longer being London's fourth biggest club. Fulham have finished above them for a few years in a row now, plus they reached the EL final a few years back, compared to the absolute embarrassment of the Hammer's recent European achievements.

West Ham are still calling the Europa League the UEFA Cup and enquiring whether the Johnstone's Paint trophy would qualify for the Cup Winner's Cup.

That would make my day, seeing the West Ham victory bus trundling around with the 'Apless 'Ammers holding up the Johnstone's Paint trophy :)

They did an open top bus parade for finishing 23rd in the lge, so anything's possible <laugh>

There's also Karren Brady using her column to bitch about Demba Ba leaving West Ham when they went down...demonstrating that, for all the time she;s spent in football, she hasn't deduced what "Relegation Release Clause" means.

Maybe she thinks it the same as "A going down on someone release clause?"
