A brave decision? Chaa, brave maybe, but a bad decision for me, unless there is a really very top guy lined up, and that ain't Sparky Hughes I don't think.

That's not strictly true, we don't all come to make such comments.

    My tuppence worth.....

TF has made the decision, as is his right and while I have a certain amount of sympathy for NW although I never thought he was going to fare any better with Rangers than he did with Sheff Utd in the top division. From the clubs point of view a full transfer window and the remainder of the season would have been fairer on the manager. Having said that, as has been a said good few times, he hasn't managed to get the best out of the current squad (for whatever reason).

I have no doubt he will get another job and pretty quickly with his track record for getting teams promoted but unlikely to get another job in the PL.

What my bigger concern, if I was a QPR fan, would be - what if the next manager does not save Rangers from the drop? Will that manager also be sacked? (I would hope not and only time will tell) but at the back of my mind is TF ruling the roost perhaps too heavily. Yes it's money etc but I hope he is not the sort of guy who is going to change managers every year because they have not met his expectations.
I would also worry that TF's expectations are unrealistic at such an early stage of his tenure, and although he has stated that it is going to take time he has acted a little too quickly for comfort as I see it.

    Good news from Mexico
He had it in the palm of his hand but the idiot tickered and has paid the price .... For **** sake he brought Barton here! When we had a togetherness that money can't buy
Both the Swans and the Norwich boys have led the line and credit to them they have kept their team spirit while Wannock who was fantastic getting us up blew it big time .
Taarabt I won't comment but his treatment from my own opinion was dreadful and insulting as was Gorkss who was the rock of our team
Chuck in Rochdale and the ****er can retire in Cornwall now
He will in time see he missed his chance that was given to him by the best footballing team in London

His lumpy football without that creative input via Taarabt was not good to watch

Barton out next and this will be a great year .... My 8th still stands as I love this club and my brothers xxxx

    Great news

From the Mirror: "Warnock wanted to make a bid for Blackburn striker Yakubu but Fernandes and the QPR hierarchy wanted bigger names."

    Shame, have always rated Yakubu.

    Wannock brought Barton FFS

He is gone and thank you because last year you had the team of your life and you blew it

    Now let's sing brothers
We want our rangers back !

Let's get a French manager and play football as Wannock was building a team of English failures

Swords if you was here I would buy you a pint ... The girlfriends now gets a week in Tulum 5 star

Over the moon in a way as it looks good from where I am

Get it on the deck and make people respect our footie again

He was brilliant last year using talent to win the title in style and everyone respected us as we deserved to win now that credit IMO goes to the swans and Norwich who didn't fiddle with the team and moral and in fact let it grow and now both Norwich and the swans have respected premiership players and the ****ers on here who slagged our team off as one being good enough were wrong

It's been a **** up apart from young and Traore and Wannock has wasted a lot of money building a team on paper which has a talentless player as captain ...

Bring on the new blood to sort out this mess now

Right I am off to swim in the moonlight in a beautiful waterfall
Wannock buy yourself a hot dog
    In Cornwall

    Love you all xxx

Assume you are there on vacation?

Hope you make it back safely in one piece - with all the ongoing drug related crimes, I wouldn't touch Mexico with a nine foot barge pole. A couple of Canadians have been murdered in Mexico in recent days - in one case, without police assistance, a guy flew down from Canada, got a location, using the stolen vehicle GPS log, and dug up the body of his murdered ex wife in a tidal lagoon on a secluded beach she had visited. During his search, he also located two additional bodies - he claims that the Mexican police for the sake of the tourist industry do not properly investigate such incidents.

Good thought Brix, being a pilot would be handy for sure!!! Unfortunately (or fortunately) my father is going in for a heart op in L'pool (he lives in N Wales) so I'll be close enough to B'ham to get to the Villa game and will then fly out after the Wolves game. I'm just over for a week or so to ferry my Mum around (she doesn't drive) while he is recuperating.

My last visit to Villa was not flash - a drive back to Bristol with a smashed window and no radio to listen to 5live after our 1-0 defeat. Got home at 3am after a couple of wasted hours in Villa's police station.

    Let's grab a beer next time!!! :)
    <cheers>

I'm hearing this a fair bit. So, you think a club like QPR are going to attract "a really very top guy"? FFS...wake up and smell the coffee mate! Hughes is about what we can expect and I for one will be 100% behind him in trying to keep us up!

Agree - If we get Hughes we'll have done well, (and he'll have done well too, since he's no doubt on a fat bonus to keep us up)

With Col and Goldie. I think Hughes will really force TF to be explicit about his ambitions for our club and what it will cost. Any more exalted candidates would expect a war chest of ruinous proportions - pretty sure MH will be demanding enough.
Hope it's sorted quick, beginning to get excited by the possibilities again....
