i was talking about adeyemi, i meant to type played, wasnt concentrating. my point about bringing up stan collymores twitter was because of the racially abusive and threatening language those liverpool fans used to describe evra in reaction to the ban when collymore tweeted about it. it was some of the most vindictive and disgusting stuff ive ever heard, and there was enough of them to suggest the upcoming tie will require at the very least a heightened police presence
i may have made a minor spelling mistake, but at least i can debate in a civil fashion. i wouldnt be surprised if you were one of the morons tweeting about killing evra over the past few weeks. it seems to be in-keeping with your level of intelligence.
I agree how disgusting those comments were, but you said they were all Liverpool supporters. Go on twitter and check it out...you will see plenty of supporters from other teams from Birmingham to Chelsea and so on.
This is true, but I bet there are people at Anfield who are kicking themselves after that draw. The Anfield crowd are bound to abuse Evra, and it will be almost impossible to prevent a minority of them throwing racist abuse. Which is just going to get more bad press for Liverpool, and possibly sanctions after the Oldham incident. The same thing would probably happen if it was the other way around, and I'm sure some smartarse Utd fans will get arrested for racially abusing Suarez in Feb and then claiming the term they used was something they call their mates. But right here, right now, Liverpool are going to need to do something about the problems that could arise at Anfield. I wonder if they'll use headcams like Spurs did?
One bloke has been charged with racially abusing Collymore, although apparently he's from Newcastle! And there were other potentially racist tweets made, but none of them serious enough for police to get involved.
I don't think Fergie will play Evra. He might not even travel to Anfield. I think it's a good opportunity for Fergie to remind Evra that it's about the collective and not the individual.
Probably Fryers with Fabio still injured. Tho' Evans did a spell there last term and did pretty well IIRC. Can't see SAF leaving out Evra to be honest. I reckon he'll be quite happy if the Anfield crowd spends more time booing Evra than they do cheering their own team...
