Heard from a reliable source late Thursday night,
that there are,at least 3 players moving in the Jan window.
    Zamora, Sunderland 7/8mil.
    Duff, Aston Villa 1/1.5mil.
Johnson 3 clubs interested, WHU, QPR, C Palace, 1/2mil.
From my point of view yes lets take it.buy one, loan a couple,
subject to survival, buy in the summer season.
My mate AJ could be on his bike, :smiley-finger007: <party> <applause>

Reliable? Better not be the Daily Mail. Hope this is true though.

I'd be sad to see Duff go, he's done our club proud and he's never let us down. But he deserves a regular spot in a PL side, and I hope he gets that.

Bobby would sadden me greatly, but my admiration for him has soured this season. He doesn't look as though he wants to be here, so he should go.

I'd like AJ gone just to shut Val up! :p

If they all go we should get two new strikers and at least one full back, right-sided.

I think is a smart move to get in the bank £10m.

A bit suspicious on Olic as he is 32 and definitely will not help age wise but for 6 months.

We need to invest on a proven young striker and a right back.

I am not happy to see anyone leave, but if we can get 7/8 for Bobby, that's a smart piece of business. Bobby is Fulham's past ... The future looks like a combination of Dempsey, Dembele and Ruiz.

the player from Munich ... Not sure. I've heard of him, but he doesn't play much for the first team.

To expand on my earlier rumor,it appears that Sunderland will match Fulhams asking price on BZ,
plus wages, but it appears the player is not to keen (if he thinks its going to be Man U /City
or any other big clubs he is in for a great shock.)
AJ keen to hang around, then on a free, CP could then match wage demands,
    Duff AV.
There is also a bit of back room speculation re: Briggs Spurs,Man U,this I hope not,but if the price is right ?

BZ had similar approach when Hull came for him. Club accepted the offer but was not keen to move. Similar now if that is the case. We can ask Bendtner as part of the deal.

AJ just sell him now to any bid. We can get a youngster on his wages alone!

Against the sale of any youngster at this point.

I can attest for the Bobby rumour. He wants to stay in London. We should definitely sell.

I think O'Neill is a manager who likes Zamora's style of holding the ball up. But I think it was rumored that Zamora turned down a move to Newcastle in the summer because he didn't want to move there.
It's possibly this that has caused a riff with Jol knowing as soon as he came in, he was willing to sell Zamora.
I would suspect he would be more inclined to go to QPR if Warnock wants him, so he could stay down south.
I could see a team like Stoke being interested, possibility of us getting Jones or Crouch (his home in Cheshire has been burgled twice since his move) in exchange or even Villa if Darren Bent is unhappy. But again would Zamora move to midlands ?

Think Johnson could help West Ham, maybe Cole moving the other way ? It seems the reason for his wanting away is Fulham will only offer him a one year deal. QPR seem to have enough forwards of his style of play already so would have to move someone on.

Duff is a hard one, because I do think the younger players are going to take his place so he will get less on pitch time, with Ireland in the Euros, he'll need game time, so I would think a Championship team would play him more.

I think there is a shortage of left backs but can't see why Spurs would want Briggs, possibly ManU but Fergie has said no players in, for January. Think Briggs is still a work in progress, and he would be better off staying.

I think that Bendtner is only on loan at Sunderland at this point, so they couldn't include him as part of any deal. As others have said, I think the bigger problem is that Bobby doesn't fancy a move up North.

What was it Jol said about Bobby, 'the grass isn't always greener'. I've a strange feeling that he may still be a Fulham player on 1 February. Not because he necessarily wants to stay or because he has a long term future at the club. However, we're still short of options up front. Jol tried to bring in various strikers in the summer but all we ended up with was the 11th hour signing of Orlando Sa after the Gignac deal fell through. No one will want to sell in January or if they do anyone half-decent will cost silly money. Also, we don't have a record of making significant signings in January: last season we brought in Gudjohnsen and Kakuta on loan and signed Sidwell, but the latter was unfinished business from the Summer. The year before it was just a couple of loan signings if I remember rightly. I think Duff will go because Jol want's to give Frei and Kasami games, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if at least one of BZ & AJ is still at the club in February and it may be that both of them are.

I agree with you, but that's what we said about a certain Chris Smalling - and look at him now. Definitely want Briggs to stay, he's one of a few exciting youngsters we've got on our books.

ESPN, reports within the last hour states, that Bobby Zamora, could be heading
to West Ham in the transfer window, with a player plus cash deal.
the only stumbling block being wage structure, but this could be overcome with a
    fixed 3 year deal.

Player plus cash deal - Mark Noble, perhaps? Let's hope so. Good spot Roscafre.

Don't think we need Boateng personally, we should be looking for Murphy's replacement.

Olic would be good, he played under Jol at HSV, didn't he? I'd have thought his wages were quite high though.

January's not a great time to buy players as teams generally don't want to sell, Macheda would've been a good loan signing to get but he's gone. Jol has a good knowledge of the Bundesliege and Eredvise so I'm sure he has a player lined up if Johnson's out of the door.

Isn't Olic like 32 as well? I don't think Jol has been linked with anyone in their 30's to be honest.

I don't rate Macheda at all. He was awful on loan at Sampdoria and on the off chance he has played for Utd he has underwhelmed me. Maybe Jol can use his Bundesliga contacts and snare Thomas Muller for us? ;)
