No mate, we are interested mainly in getting a striker,then a wide player, but if we have the chance to sign a quality player like Corluka,we'll take it as he would be better than what we have.
You've got the joint best defence in the division. Of course you'd rather have an exciting winger than a clogger in defence. Signing Townsend = step forward towards top of the league. Signing Corluka = more of the same in second place.
Like i said,it won't be just Corluka. We'll get one of Sharp, Rhodes,Whittingham or Maynard i reckon,plus Matt Taylor will be back soon,our wide man
let's see how many of them you really sign instead of fantasy. To be fair the expensive premier league quality players you buy, the more that will want to leave next season if you don't get promoted. For you without promotion, your screwed. To us, promotion is a luxury we don't need but want.
Corluka is ****, scores a few screamers every now n then but thats it, he lacks pace and doesn't have great stamina! Townsend is class, quick with and without the ball, decent shot on him tracks back unfortunate that our strikers are struggling to keep up with him to get in the box!! Out of the 5 players I bet you only get Taylor! Sharps virtually signed with Leicester
I dont think sharp is virtually signed with leicester. I dont think he'll go to either leicester or west ham to be honest. He isn't the type of player that money will attract him. The thing that i think about townsend though is he seems quite greedy, other than that seems class
That was the trouble with W.Ham, they did play "beautiful football", but were a bit soft, especially when the northerners came to town. There is nothing wrong in remembering the past. Just because sky have erased all memory of football pre sky doesn't mean generations of fans have to.
